They are already going to be ahead of the Tranch on Day 1. Why? Because they don't have 200+ animals to feed and care for.
How close are they? Can they stage raids?

I know almost nothing about Amerind traditions, but I'm pretty sure I remember that horse raids are an accepted tradition and/or rite of passage.

Option two: the troons send them off a hundred head of alpacas in a show of "solidarity," basically like smallpox blanket DIY kits.

BlackHammerTown could hire a helicopter and have it air drop KFC and grape drink in every single day and it would still be less of a waste then the tranch.
I'm not sure prices in CO, but Hammer Time probably has enough money in their gofraudme to get an appropriately seized well and spetic dug if they can actually find someone to come do it. Those companies don't like driving to fuck all nowhere only to have their trucks get stuck. I predict tents, a winnebago or two, and maybe some quonset huts. The Tranch started with more and has the ability to raise far more money than Hammer Time does.

They have the ability but they can't stop hording animals. Their numbers are way past the point of ridiculous. If the Tranch had 5 or 10 alpaca, some chickens, and a milk cow it could be a sustainable thing. What they have created is a environmental disaster that sucseeds at doing nothing but burning cash and tourturing animals.

Right now Hammertown is at 0
Tranch is at -9000
Even if the hammers only manage to tent camp on their land for a few weeks a year thats more of a success then the tranch.

You can audibly hear Penny feeling awkward, confused, and simply wanting the conversation to just end.
What are the chances Phil knows who Tommy is and doesn't want him associated with the Tranch at all? Which is interesting, considering they were grooming an actual child trafficker.

It's fantastic. Tom has enough grift in him that he might be able to swing borrowing, and then stealing, a shitty old camper van and just showing up uninvited. The chances are slim, but a girl can dream,

I bet money they googled him and found his KF thread. Which they of course read. I hope Tom confronts them about it and starts freaking out when they inevitably refuse to let him visit.

I wouldn't expect much from this honestly. At most perhaps a cordial visit where Tom is kept away from all the animals at all times and at worst where they try to diplomatically refuse Tom citing a number of reasons, the latter being a certainty if any of the tranch gang read up on their thread here.

Truthfully I don't think Tom expects or even wants to live there and perhaps he truly does want to just visit. He recently switched apartments and is busy settling his roach and rat family in their new domicile. After all if he moved in to the middle of nowhere where will he busk or try to hawk his polished street gravel?
