The funniest thing to me about him yelling at people to "lower their standards" is that it's basically saying that people should just like more garbage shows. Most of the shows and movies he defended with all of his heart over the years is no where close to the kind of effort he puts in defending them.

Doramon. I watched some episode and.... it was just an alright average show for children. Like it's the very thing you imagine when you hear "children's show". The kind of show you would put on if you wanted little Jimmy to shut the fuck up but you won't pay attention to it. It's alright and it's alright to like it but you would believe this show was truly something special and unique with how much he bitched about one bad review. I wouldn't have even heard about it if it wasn't for him.

Yokai Watch. It was honestly VERY boring and look like an autistic version of Pokemon. No wonder why he likes it.

Dumb and Dumber 2. Just because the point of a show or movie that the characters are stupid.... doesn't take away it is mind boggling stupid. Like, their is Bevis and Butthead and then their is this. He really wanted people to be beheaded by ISIS for this?

Chucky. As someone who does kind of like the chucky seried. Both for the good and bad parts about it. I TRIED to like this but I can't pass the first half of season 1. Just boring and cringy "relatable teen drama dude" with Chucky thrown in just so it can have a recognizable label on it.

His tastes are pretty shitty I can tell. But yeah, I can see the reverence some people have with Doraemon. It debut in 1973 in Japan and many people grew up with it. From what I can tell, it's a fine show but I am not in the demographic for it. But with Yokai Watch, I refused to give the show a chance. That godawful exercise song literally destroyed any remaining interest I had in that show. I can clearly tell Blake is way too old to watch that show. With tastes this shitty, he clearly has no right to shit on Rosewater and Attack on Titan just because his puny autistic brain couldn't grasp the message and subject matter and he has no right to shit on the Oblongs and Halloween just because some characters are too cruel. When he made statements such as wanting to shoot Big G from Doraemon with a shotgun, it's clear that he can't handle real life.

I always hate reddit for the fact almost all the good subreddits get shut down and any remaining subreddit gets woke degenerate moderators against the subreddit's owners will. This is part of the reason why degenerates wanted KiwiFarms shut down because KiwiFarms is a haven of free speech they can't control it like they could with the subreddits they own.

I just laughed my ass off when I saw that message and I expected this just for pointing out Jews own anything and nothing really disrespectful, yeah 75% of complains on that subreddit is basically first world problems by spoiled brats (Similar to what Blake complains about). But yeah, Blake just really hates reddit because everyone on there disagrees with his points and is tired of him telling them that said shit is better than the other thing. So of course someone is going to downvote his posts while normal redditors despite being degenerates won't even care about it anyways. As for The Walking Dead, I only saw it once in 2013 and thought it was boring, but that was very long ago and my tastes have changed so I am willing to give it another chance. It kind of reminded me of one of my friends who was younger then me complaining that Mushishi was boring while I was loving it and love it to this day.

Also Blake continues to bitch about glitches in the games he played and in emulators.

I just can't imagine him trying to run Be-reave secondary on his shitty computer with the wrong locale settings (I'm still trying to find a way to run the game without crashing). We live in a time where companies can now patch the games they release with updates. That couldn't happen in 1999 when Be-reave secondary was released and had to release a patch on the website themselves as a downloadable file and especially during the 1980s when the internet was in it's infancy.

I can't believe I just realize this but should it come as no shock that out of every piece of media that is meant closer to his age, the only one he seems to like that is outside of a cartoon or a comedy, non the less a horror franchise...... is Chucky? One that is agruably, while closer to his rage is also more childish compare to other horror franchises and it isn't just because the killer is inside the body of a children's doll. Even when the franchise was meant to be more serious and scary it had moments that were obviously meant to be funny that only an autistic man child like him would find funny. I also highly doubt he watched The Walking Dead. Since that show is actually meant for a mature audience that can handle watching very serious subject matter and lets it take it time to show how for real in deep shit these post apocalyptic survivors are in. Blake is that guy who constantly needs keys jingled in front of him to stay entertained.

@Lunar Eclipse Paradox I personally recommend it. It won't be the greatest show you'll ever watch but for the majority of it's run time it was a entertaining zombie apocalypse show. It was honestly far less focus on the zombies and more on the survivors and how they try to survive not only The Walkers (what they are called on the show) but other people who will do anything to get what they can get to survive also which to me is a huge plus and the zombies really don't effect the plot until they needed to. They are more of the reason why this all happaned in the first place more then anything. Id say the peak was The Negan story line and honestly where the show should have ended. If you want to watch beyond Negan's arc, you can go ahead but it didn't get much better from there and it was already pretty deep into the show.

Honestly Blake probably heard his Mom watch the walking dead or heard other people trash talk it. He treats Chucky really highly and he does watch horror movies cause I mean he has nothing else to do besides emulate games. He doesn't even seem to bother having any actual friends or even trying to do anything creatively despite claiming himself to be an animator.

Maybe they are just trying to appeal to a more female audience right now? Or maybe it's just a huge coincidence? Why does the gender even matter? Why is Blake so constantly annoyed by critics giving bad reviews for a movie that doesn't align with their narrative? I swear to God, even if that movie had a 99% rating, he would still complain and compare it to movies with perfect ratings he couldn't comprehend in his lifetime.

The fact that Nostalgia Critic changing ruins comedy for Blake only comes to show his tastes in comedy in general. He generally appreciates severely autistic people raging and destroying movies they don't like. Of course critics are gonna change over seeing a cesspool of severely autistic children and Nostalgia Critic has a right to change his personalities in his newer reviews because he doesn't owe anyone, really, in a kind of sense, it's like a changing mentality of perceiving trash, something Blake still never went through to this day. I also remember ToddInTheShadows getting pretty aggressive in his song reviews back in 2009, he's gone very mellow in his later review and I feel that sort of connection on his Top 10 Worst Hit Songs in 2022. That connection being that even the shittiest movies, games and music can just be compared to a dry turd in the sidewalk or playground. You know it's there but it doesn't matter that much to you. Then when it's gone, it's only just a distant memory.
