Having watched this sort of thing play out before with the sexes of gene donors and child reversed, I fully support the Vickers taking custody of the kid. Otherwise, that kid is going to get molested and see drugs, whoring, and white trash shit all the time. Despite their clear failure at raising Faith, it'd still be marginally better than allowing her or The Gunt free reign over the child's early life.

It’s because Ralph has no leverage. He can’t hold access to Faith or their grandchild over them because they aren’t there to do so. It’s all empty bravado. Even if his does shit all over the Vickers on Killstream who of any significance in their lives would even know about it? Then again who would care because they could easily play it off as a jilted ex.

The worst thing about this is that it indicates what that poor kid's future is going to be. I suspected that Ralph would just ignore him but now I know he can't do that, what fool I was. Ralph still can't let go of Matt Jarbo so of course he can't let go of the Vickers family and his kid.
Ralph will do everything to keep his kid's life on the internet. When that kid starts kindergarten Ralph will have something to say and cram whatever drama he causes about it online. When that kid graduates grade school and has a fun little ceremony Ralph will post an angry diatribe about how he wasn't invited. That kid will be in the process of applying to college and Ralph will still be fucking up online, and poor Xander will have to try to disassociate himself as much as possible to get a good start.

I think Faith will be out of the Vickers' household by the end of the year if the shit Ralph is talking is even partially true. I don't know whether it will be to Ralph or Dick or whoever. I'm sure she's chaffing at the bit to get out from Papa Vickers' thumb if he really is controlling her internet access, etc. All it will take is her for her to get tired and frustrated taking care of a newborn and the right situation presenting itself. Faith isn't pregnant and vulnerable anymore. She can dump the baby on her parents and bolt.

My expectations are that after a short period of Ralph putting in "effort" and being re-buffed he will essentially say, Xander can come and find me when he's of age.
The only thing that might alter this, is the fact he has an online presence which might shame him into action as being a deadbeat dad is an easy thing for people to score points on.

What I don't get is why did she leave in the first place then? Did she realize she needed somebody more responsible to help her get through her pregnancy so she ran back to her parents for the time being?
I can't imagine what a second Faith saga would bring us considering what the first one brought.
