Usually grandparents lose to actual biological parents if a case is fully litigated. Grandparents do not generally have anything like full parental rights. But there's law and there's reality and there's no way in hell any grandparent would be considered to be "kidnapping" under circumstances where they return a child to the home where it's always lived when the mother is undergoing a mental breakdown and it's obviously for the child's protection.

I went back and read the Initial Faith Post thread. My god the amount of information out there on this absolutely broken woman and how ralph seduced her into his virtual "slave" is beyond the pale. I pity faith and her family and that , at least Faith is, tied to Ralph for the rest of her life (and I don't mean the cat). What an absolutely revealing and vile tale this all is yet it's what made Jerry Springer who he is today and the world loves it. I can only wait for Xander to one day go out and live with his "dad" as all boys do, that's if Faith doesn't decide he's Trans or some wacky childlike shit, and realize what stock he descended from. Therapy is the only solution for this and to block Ralph the fuck out of the kids life forever.
Oh I know he’s a cow. I remember talking about how Ralph was going to become something magical during the cornpocolypse. The thing is how quickly the situation has broken down. It’s only been about a year since Ralph fully lost it, and we already have all this shit. Chris at least goes dormant for a while. That can’t happen with Ethan because this is his livelihood.
