Chris has such a precious laugh.

25:10: Interviewer talks about how the "trolls" really just want to help Chris. Chris doesn't want therapy because he believes that he is still functional. Chris says that he "goes with the flow" in order to make a living.

30:00: Chris talks about what happens when his mother passes away and he is left alone in the house. Chris says has no plan. Whan the interviewer expresses his worry, Chris says that he worries himself. He hopes that Jessica will help them out in the end.

39:00 Chris wants to Marry Hillary Clinton, "play with" Obama, Kill Trump.

41:00 Fuck-a-round with Rosechu, only because he doesn't want to take her away from Sonichu. Marry Amy Rose, Kill Mary Lee Walsh

42:50 Biggest regret: Cake farts. He regrets the 11 dollars wasted while only having one slice before sitting on it, rendering the rest of the Walmart cake inedible.

44:00 :horrifying: Donald duck impersonation.

46:00 Chris talks about blarms, swaps out Cake farts as biggest regret with his useless protest against blarms. Regrets macing the employee. Has a steam account that he never uses.

1:08:20 Chris talks about Liquid Chris. He looks back on it with mild amusement.

1:11:10 Chris has grown past putting trolls and enemies into his comics. But he is willing to bring back old enemies.

Of course he regrets the 11 dollars and not farting on a cake

That indeed shows an unheard level of awareness from good old Pear-head...but from the other hand he stills tweets all the time to a lot of people who don't even acknowledge he exists like if he is having a dialogue.
I understand what you’re saying and I agree with you but, technically, getting blocked on social media *is* an acknowledgment of CWC’s presence.

Well, assuming you are talking mostly about Doopie, he tweets at MLP VAs like if they are best friends too. As a matter of fact, Doopie sometimes answered his tweets (big mistake! We all know that he interpreted it as "I can almost smell her china <Hannibal Lecter slurp noise>") before blocking him.

I found this endearing in a way. Yes, he's delusional (hi psychic powers) and refuses to admit his laziness, but hearing him actually laugh, be conversational, and be engaged was a bit... heartwarming, in a way.

It's easy to forget he's a human being when most of what you witness is bizarre, creepy, and selfish behavior. Even though much of the interview retreads old ground, it's neat to see how Merryweather could get him to open up and relax.

One thing I noticed was Chris' memory. He seems to forget some pretty significant events and has a hard time answering questions about his past that would come immediately to mind for most folks. Yet he'll also remember some details clearly, like the month he found out he was trans. Is he purposefully obscuring information, like some of the Liquid saga or meeting the pickle man? Or is it just autism brain?

Also, his lack of plans after Barb and the fact that it worries him made me kind of sad.

I can say I sort of agree with Merryweather's statement that many non-weens don't follow Chris because they hate him... I wouldn't say they like him, either. Just morbid fascination.

Great interview. Maybe next time de lve more into old relationships, specifics about high school, the hoard, etc.

Of course, because his favorite conversation topic was discussed--himself.

I found the podcast to be interesting. This is coming from someone who has never sat through an interview with Chris Chan. What Chris Chan thinks about the people whom he calls "trolls" comes off a bit surprising. He is more calm than I thought he would be.

It is like going through a Metokur video on TGWTG I suppose. It is boring if you are already familiar with the subject matter but otherwise makes for a good listen.

No way fam. This drama is like pure highschool level cliche niche drama.
The only way it relates to Chris at all is that it's a shit show that everyone literally does to themselves.
The preppy Nana gets cheated on once she moves to the city to be closer to her bf because bf wanted her to come but he then falls for a co-worker.
Then the same girl goes to bed with a famous band member(some how). She then dumps him because he's abusive and goes after one of the friends of the punk Nana. But then she gets pregnant by the other band member so that becomes a shit show. Oh and the preppy girl's best friend kept giving her shitty advice, all it did was escalate drama. Like they sided with her cheating bf.
Then the other Nana, punk Nana, has weird possessiveness. Literally no one gave her problems, she did it herself. she started all the problems with other people.

Not only that but the story did this weird "they're lesbians but nah" thing. Like the most symbolic thing was the fact the fact when they moved in together preppy Nana got them matching cups as a symbol of friendship. But then Punk Nana breaks them because she was pissed off that Prep got preggers from the Dick ban member because Punk Nana was "possessive".
Okay I just meant his life “is just pure drama with no true resolve, it circulates the issues every time.”

I finally managed to get around to listening this morning. I think you did a really good job! You were really good at walking the line where you weren't talking down or really being an ass to him, but you didn't coddle him either and weren't afraid to ask some real questions. Seems like he actually enjoyed most of it too. Maybe he will be open to more stuff like this later on.

Indulging the fat idiot about his delusions regarding being a woman, his Sonichu scribbles and not ever even attempting to get a job is really not doing him any favors. I can understand not wanting to push him so much that he totally shuts down, but frankly, a cold hard dose of reality is what would serve him best. He's a 35 year old man with a dying mother who needs to plan for the future, and not remain blissfully content with being a perpetual child, only dimly aware at best that the ride is over once Barblax kicks the bucket.

That said, this interview was immeasurably better than the one that the wee.ns a few months back did. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Chris has been doused with reality on many occasions and from many different sources, both OTI and IRL. Simply telling him how to fix himself has never, ever worked and will probably continue not working for as long as people still care to try.
What Chris needs is a hard dose of actual reality being inflicted on him, and even that may not solve his perpetual childishness. Being kicked out to the street is right about the only thing that may force him to turn his stupid life around, and unfortunately if things ever go that far it might already be too late.
So yeah. Giving him the cold "reality treatment" a la Kacey's Father would achieve absolutely nothing and will only alienate him, going completely against the goal of extracting a full-length interview out of the autist.

Should have the poster up in about 10 hours or so! Both male and female version, and versions without my co-host and I, replaced with Sonichu.

As promised, here's the full interview my co-host Easy-K and I did with the Eternal God-Emperor of CWCville, Christian Weston Chandler. The interview occurred on 4th of October right before his break-up.

Artwork for the podcast will be up with the YouTube version on Monday. Until then, here's a sketch. We're going with a Danganronpa Theme, so I call it "Super Highschool Level Autism"

We're making a poster version with just Chris Chan and Sonichu too, so if anyone wants it I'll put up a free download link for the full size version. Any artwork we do of Chris will be free to use for anyone of course. The YouTube video will be without ads.

I really tried my best, and I'm sorry if it's not that good. We're still very new to doing interviews, and I thought it would be cool to have Chris on for an episode. I hope you guys enjoy it!

That picture of fem chris is unironicly cute

fuck me

@Merryweatherey I've tried ignoring it but this has been nagging me.
In the interview, at the 29:00 mark, you asked Chris about Barb's weight loss. He acknowledged the weight loss and then the rest of his answer was ..."really, we were able to eat better because my late father was able to help us out while he was alive. Plus in their younger days both my mom and my dad did do their share of cooking and they made pretty good meals now and then."

It sounds like he's directly correlating Barb's weight loss with the loss of his father's money and in part, his cooking for them. Is that a misreading of his words? Because we all see the problem with his statement if not.

Fuck he sucks so bad at plot creation... I wonder how many times somebody has told him, "Sonichu is not a fucking original character!".. but hell... I know he can't (wont) understand. Sonichu is so horrible it made me autistic. BILLY MAYYYYS

On a serious note, great job on this interview, very pleasant

That is pretty much how I interpreted his answer. Its probably that, And just the fact that Barbara is an old woman. Sometimes it gets harder for older people to properly consume food normally, which might also have been a factor in the significant weight loss.

In addition, I don't assume that there's much home cooked food in the Chandler household after Bob's passing. Its likely they mainly eat TV dinners, microwaved food, etc, which would definitely also be harder to digest for an elderly woman.

This was an interesting podcast. It gives a totally different look into Chris than what you'd normally expect from just looking at the wiki or his tweets.

There's a lot of stuff I didn't expect to hear from Chris, like when you guys talked about black bodyguards and Chris joked along. That little laugh when he says "call me crazy if you want to" talking about his psychic link. How open he was to discussion. If he would play his cards right, he'd make a great drinking buddy or someone to game with in voice chat.

You guys did really well with this one. I might have felt a bit of pity for him.

I half-assed joked in another thread that ruining that cake affected him more than having a 13 year old boy make him shove shards of his medallion up his shite pipe.

Also.. You know he ate some of that cake.

He mentions that he had a slice beforehand, unless I'm misinterpreting it.

Also, I think this is the first time I've heard Chris laugh genuinely. Or at least, somewhat genuinely.
