11/1/21 Chris Chan Phone Call Update

You know that's pretty messed up and something I never realized. I looked up where Bob's urn is and holy shit, it's right next to Monticello. There's also not anywhere Chris would go around there so it kind of makes sense he doesn't go there.

I could see it: Bob not buried close to a hobby store or a mall. That would be an inconvenience to Chris. It shows the disrespect Chis had for Bob in life continue in death.

You know aside from his father's grave
I wonder what Chris would say? Normally when people go to their loved one's places, they would talk with them; Chris would talk to them. I know remorse isn't exactly Chris' strong suit, so he'll probably talk about da merge, or what's going on in his marriages. Although I don't think he'll talk about what he did to Barb.

With Chris, it'll be a "Hey, how's it going. Me and mom are fine. I'm going to buy some useless junk now. Bye."

Chris has been there. When he was told to hike the Blue Ridge Mountains, he instead walked a few hundred yards around Monticello, panting the whole way.

Imagine the cum rehydrated the ashes and made a Chris/Barb homunculus

It's better than what else could come from that sort of situation.

Isn't that area supposed to be really nice? I'm not an American but I've seen documentaries about the Villa Jefferson built and it looks from what I've seen a nice place to spend eternity.

But yea it's sad he doesn't go to the grave and it's not because he hasn't got the time due to life and family reasons, but no it's because He doesn't view it as important and even if there way something near by that would attract him I could see him not even thinking about it even if he drove right past it.

Bob got him and Barb a prepaid plan, there is spot and box already set aside next to his,

It all depends on whether or not Tom and Harriet put her there.

Paupers grave.
Landfill more likely.
Just catapult him into the sea.

Body Farm. (Do not click this link.)

It will be the most useful thing Chris could ever do.

Damn. Bob must have shelled out some real cash money for himself and Barb. I did not expect that. I figured he was in whatever cemetery is associated with Rocky's church.

Chris wouldn't visit even if it were right next door. How often do you think he visits Patty's grave?

Speaking of which, does anyone know what happened to the Chandler pets? I suppose it's too late to check the local animal shelters.

Neighbors had been taking care of them. Who knows if they still are.

What's the point of having all these weens about if they can't keep track of a simple thing like that?

Seriously, though, I am concerned about the pets wearing out their welcome quickly. None of them were house trained (neither was Chris). But again, it's probably too late to do anything about it.

The cats are easy enough: just put food on the porch and hope for the best. They seemed to be indoor/outdoor based on photos of the property.

I feel bad for the dog, though :heart-empty:

It's probably better than whatever crap the chandlers were feeding them anyways. I'm not really worried about the cats: if the cats could survive Chris and Barb, likely they can survive anything.

The dog is my real concern as well. The CWCki reports Clover being returned to 14BLC when Barb moved back in, but nobody seems to know what happened after the van crash.

Bob went to the Korean Baptist Church. Rocky was at the Church that Chris went to. And in the US cemeteries tend to be municipal rather than connected to individual Churches.

Leakin Park in Baltimore being a prime example.

But really, anyone can start a cemetery if they can get the zoning and never, ever want to use the land for anything else. It's just that municipalities tend to take over cemetery land after the original owners die, go bankrupt, dis-incorporate, or whatever.

It may be best if there's a special court order or ruling that interprets Charb having pets as animal abuse.

It's been tried. So long as the Chandlers are feeding their animals (even if it's crap like Ol' Roy and canned soup) and not regularly entering them into dog fights or vivisecting them, their animals can't be taken away.

Plots start at $1800 and go up from there for a cremation plot at that cemetery, so it's reasonable to assume that it was maybe $3000->5000ish for Bob to get the plot for him and Barb. It's certainly a chunk of change for the Chandlers, but he could have arranged it when Chris was still a kid and paid a lot less.

Wasn't Chris 'responsible' for getting the dog's food and feeding them? I whichever case, even if Harriet and Tom are helping out with that, Barb would give both dogs condensed soup. Clover is doomed. I was looking at their CWCki, and damn, pets would be like their owners. Chris and Barb should not be pet owners, period.

It's not a plot. It's a niche in a columbarium. Essentially shelf space. And the price generally depends on the specific cemetery. Also on whatever the funeral director thinks he can take you for. It's not a very ethical industry (though I suspect the wedding industry is even worse).

It's certainly a chunk of change for the Chandlers,

Not so much for when Bob was still alive and managing the finances, and Barb hadn't had a chance to piss everything away on the hoard and overpriced lawyers for things she and Chris were clearly guilty of. Also rebuilding 14BLC after her hoard and neglect burned it down.

tl;dr: Chris and Barb aren't poor because they lack money. They're poor because they're fiscal idiots.

Or parents. That's not much of a worry with Chris, but godammit Barb!
