15.ai

this is a website where you can take any character from any media franchise you want, give it an emotional preset (mostly contextual), and have it say whatever you type in.

for example, heavy from tf2 cooming:

OH GOD... OH GOD, IM COOMING, IM COOOOOOOOMIIING. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

go wild

fess up, OP, you went there because of the pony voices, didn't you

For those who still want to use it until the new version comes out which should be soon according to the developer.
And the only sources are Ponyshit.

Also, could anyone who knows about machine learning stuff confirm if his claims about hosting costs are accurate? I'm always skeptical whenever somebody talks about how running their website costs a bajillion dollars (see, Lowtax) and I find his claim that he's paying these absurd costs out of pocket incredibly dubious.

How much does maintaining the servers cost?
It depends on the amount of traffic, but the minimum baseline is around several thousands of US dollars every month. This is expected as inference is very GPU intensive and a sufficient number of instances need to be spun up to handle thousands of requests coming in every minute. Everything is paid out of pocket.

the dev has lolcow potential imho tbhfam
That panic deletion of all tweets, coping about totally not being a horsefag, effectively going full vaporware with patreon bucks ala spoony, and twitter snark makes quite the canidate. Wish there was a thread during the "godaddy dont shut down my unused website!!!!" moment.

Talking to someone knowledgeable on the subject and he's more likely paying 1k a month or maybe 2k if it's super busy that month.
