Guardia Civil investigates the violent death of about fifteen hens who were anally raped according to the injuries found in their bodies.
Events happened in the absence of the owners of the farm who were traveling for the Jaen Medieval festivities from May 5 to 7.
Police sources confirmed Las Provincias newspaper that the perpetrators of the slaughter entered the pen through the roof after they broke the lock and then left through the same spot. The way in which they broke in could indicate that one or more young people could be responsible.
The workers of the farm in charge of feeding the animals during the owners' absence sounded the alarm. When they entered the place found the hens with their rear destroyed, red, and plucked, a sign of have been anally raped.
Overall, it was fifteen birds, some dead and others dying inside the pen of a private property. One of the murdered hens was already fertilized and about to lay eggs. There was also a rooster in the farm, the only survivor.
A hen was found hanged.
In later days, according to Las Provincias, the neighbors found some of the missing birds and some others dead with signs of violence, one of them was found hanging from the branch of an olive tree close to the farm.
