These numbers are for Anycolor, which is generally considered the 2nd biggest vtubing company behind Cover.
Are you speaking of just in the English market? I was under the impression that Anycolor was much bigger if you take the worldwide market into account. They certainly are if you just go by number of streamers…

When has Ralph ever succeed in actively taking down someone? He wins by existing, and calamity naturally befalls his ayylogs. Null was right, Ralph's win condition is just existing.
I like how he's using information that he got straight from the farms yet any information about him that is posted is 100% false and kiwi farms is a fan fiction fag forum. However if it's a post about anyone that makes him seethe it's 100% factual. Not saying her dox is wrong, but it's just yet another highlight to ralphs massive cope

It's hard to say for sure but I tend to believe that AC is probably behind Cover in general, though the gap is certainly much smaller than it is when comparing the two in the EN market. Though I suppose that this now is kinda deviating from the thread topic.

Those are some impressive figures.
I suppose the key to this business is rapid growth then diversity to avoid being stagnant then.
It's a tech start up basically but with entertainment. They burn money and hope it eventually works out, and as one guy Pippa interviewed that had a failed company said he intended to spend 100k$ in the first year and burned through 150k$ in something like 8 months. He was a bit of a tard, but still shows how easy it is to burn money.

Most of the companies started as tech start up companies especially in japan and the models were a way to advertise the tech now they advertise for other products, hell one of them advertised for morbius.

I'm not as knowledgeable about Nijisanji but I remember Sony Music dumped a nice chunk of money into them. The top two companies, Hololive and Nijisanji, also sell mech and get sponsorships. Some sponsorships and collabs are pretty legit to like Nissin Instant Noodles and one of Japan's major league Baseball league and Family Mart, one of their major chain of convenience stores. They also have investors, for example apparently Hololive raised $700 million yen.

A lot of business is just understanding what type of business model you're really in, and it's not very obvious most of the time.

The startup mentality is usually fuelled with cope, delusions of grandeur and colleagues trying to be friends rather than run a good business, that's why 95% of them goes belly up. Steve Jobs ruined a generation.

I love how no one is paying attention to Ralph's worthless roast stream because it's so dreadfully boring.

Start ups are all cope, you're basically trying to find a market for an idea and hoping it's good enough to work out (Oh, and people think you're a retard because others are in the same market while you're doing it). It's nothing new and I've worked with enough companies in both extremes to say I like start ups more because they're retarded and fun, whereas an established business thing tends to just be a bland grind with most of what you do being worthless, not because it failed after being tried but because it was never used. Some start ups do go too hard into the "let's all be friends" bullshit, but so do older companies, it's more about having people who know why they're there than anything.

Is Ralph still streaming? I thought he stopped a while ago as no one even brought it up. :story:

he's got richard spencer up now. the bald bunny stream is over.
It's 2022, not 2016, who cares about Richard Spencer?

To be fair, the entire panel and the chat is Richard Spencer's best pro-choice argument.

Holy shit another "Richard Spencer debates things that have been debated a million times" stream? Holy shit Ralph, way to strike while the iron is at absolute fucking zero.
