I'ts more of a partnership, the companies provide the entertainer with the vtuber model, tech etc and sometimes a viewerbase, protects the vtuber from dmca and other shit, and they split the profits

It's honestly like sponsoring a twitch streamer

Produce content, mostly playing vidya, sometimes as music idols. Others do cooking shows with tarantulas. So basically, entertainment.

Their JP branches are usually bigger and more mainstream, with big names over there, from musicians to actors acknowledging/talking about them on TV.

If I had to guess one VTuber who would start beef with Ralph, Pippa probably would have been my #1 pick tbh. Still gutted her Chris Chan stream didn't work out in the end. Fucking hilarious to see her roasting him and end up on the front page here.

Fish man is probably going to keep her on a tight leash for a bit, so I wouldn't expect another lolcow stream for quite a while, but it was good while it lasted.

She's probably also banned from doing collab streams with Tenma until at least the end of the month given how they'd probably both just encourage eachother.
