Acceptable compromise. I'm just here to laugh at horror youtubers and this whole situation was really getting in the way of that.

I'm sure someone will correct me but we don't want to filter normalfags from the site entirely. That would defeat the purpose of archiving troonacy where everyone may read it & laugh. This Tor arrangement and invite-only account creation would be perfect if there was some way to keep the farms viewable on the clearnet. What Keffals (and others) want more than anything is to make it very hard to read about the horrible shit they get up to.

thats fine. if anything think about it like this. their whole thing for weeks now has been sending people here to take screenshots and go WOW LOOK SEE SCARY BAD PLACE but if now we are here a place where apparently only the super 1337 can reach (even though all you have to do is download a fucking browser) whats left for them? we can and will continue on with our lives. them on the other hand...they will either prove themselves to be bad people by hunting us down on the supposed dark web or go and focus their rage on the next target (spoilers its totally gonna be destiny)

Massive respect to you josh. I might be a newfag but I've been a long time lurker who only registered now, not for the keffals bs but because I knew other threads I wanted to participate on. I may be scared right now, we all may be weak, but this is really just a minor inconvenience. Take care of yourself, family matters more than tranny drama right now. We'll all make it. I suggest everyone who can to donate and help as much as possible, perhaps finding alternatives or solutions to this whole ordeal.

I'm genuinely scared of the future of the internet and free speech if it's this easy for trannies to destroy anything they dislike by doing this kind of shit. Honestly, this is a fantastic idea they'll eventually run out of patience and likely try and frame it as a victory in a way of "we defeated the heccin farms and forced them onto the deep web, they'll lose some members!11!!". However I highly doubt the farms will lose that many members in all honesty, most people who post and use the farms seem to have a beyond basic understanding of computers and given tor is literally... a browser even if the farms became a completely onion website I think the userbase would remain healthy.

What the greater concern would be is the possibility that the swatting of congress member dumbo mc gee has drawn significantly more powerful attention, I've read mentions that some of the service providers may have been given national security letters, which come with a gag order and who the fuck knows what else. There is a good chance that governmental attention doesn't go away with time, however given how many times the farms has likely been investigated I'd wager unless someone decided to do a facebook live tier glowop nothing too averse would come from it. This is of course a byproduct of keffals mcgee and the groomed catboy tree's bullshit but is ultimately disturbing in how the functions of government can be weaponized this easily, we are witnessing the final death throws of remnants of the true wild west of the internet on the clearweb imo.

And I hope whatever has come up with your family resolves itself drooldog, genuinely you don't deserve this bullshit on top of that.

Unexpected strategy, but I think it could pay off. Besides, if you only lurk lolcow threads and shit up featured ones (I'm guilty of this too don't worry) this is a good opportunity to branch out and explore the rest of the site. It's pretty big and there are a lot of cozy threads on niche topics to join.

Anyway, I don't think the idea is to make this harder for normies.

Joshua wants a place where people can go and give their opinion even if it's counter to everyone else,
and for that to occur you need a way for normal people to enter the site.

Been reading a lot of Joshua's text posts and he's got some good points and goals.
I think what needs to happen is more ISPs, more DDOS protectors, more of everything so competition can solve this problem.
Right now if a few influential people in the tech sector don't like what you're doing, then they have all the tools necessary to shut you down.

Like Josh said there hasn't been any Zuckerberg or ground breakers on the internet in some time, because they are either bought up quickly (Instagram) or they are pressured into non-existence.

This should be a wakeup call to any people that care about the future of society. Like it's becoming almost impossible to run your own email server because Microsoft will silently discard your mail, can't run your own ISP unless you have a billion dollars in fees, and enough money to buy people's property to run your own lines (you don't).

I want to make my own ddos protection service now because fuck Matthew prince, but I'm not smart enough so I'm going to study.
