I listened to the whole "victory stream" on Twitch. In the beginning, Keffals declared he wouldn't go after anyone else, like 4chan or Mumsnet. Then over the course of the stream he kept gleefully working up his messiah complex, leading to "Libs of TikTok is up to no good. Can you imagine if we did this to them?!"

He might take a little break, but he WILL go back to chasing that high now that he's got a taste. Godspeed. He's a charisma black hole, and his continued escapades will contribute to people reaching peak trans.

Well, that's the nature of the the thing man, the site got big, and in a environment where retards talk about other retards, its bound to happen that it will attract all sorts of people, and with the laxed moderation the farms had, well, you can't help some of the retards to stick their forks into a electric socket.

To be fair, I don't think Null should have gone full hammer on this shit either, being able to say whatever you want is the appeal of the place. I just don't see how could have this played out in any other fashion that it wouldn't hurt the site.

Said that, the trashing Kiwifarms got is unprecedented, within minutes of a fed post and Cloudflare turning tail along with dozen of articles all over the mainstream media, yeah, this goes way, way beyond some fat sociopath troon who used to fart for nickels, people who really got this site down were just waiting for the right time to strike, and strike they did.

-They built a badly assembled website where they asked companies to act.
-Streamed but never on time where they asked companies to act.
-Stole a bunch of gofundme money (which mostly went on ubereats and hotel rooms) that was campaigned for on the Intent they would ask companies to act.
-And planned two protests that didn't even happen, where they would ask companies to act, in person, at least the ones who showed up would.
-(and probably planted some fake shit on KF with sleeper accounts to try and convince companies to act but that's just my personal opinion)

What did happen is the powers that be, Service providers and what-not, saw an opportunity to close their grip on a free Internet. This kind of sets a precedent for more sites. YouTube, 4chan, Twitter, Newgrounds, all that shit. There's an undeniable intent to curate and censor the Internet as it stands today into something more sterile and safe.
Think Zuck's Metaverse shit. It's a bland, inoffensive shopping centre, sprinkled with petty little distractions to keep you browsing while you are endlessly advertised at. But it's run like a day-care centre for adult babies who are expected to play nice and not say naughty words. A completely disinfected environment, devoid of controversy and creativity, where they advertise that anything is possible, but so little is actually permitted.
