Lots of people do. The number of members has been almost doubling each year in recent years. Staying on the clearnet should absolutely be the goal. Tor is better than nothing, but it would be slowly dying, rather than being open to ever more people who don't want to drink the Kool-Aid.The only real advantage of staying on the clearnet I can think of is that it gives regular people who hear about KF the opportunity to visit it and decide for themselves if what they've been told is true. But how many people will actually do that vs. people who will just hear someone tell them "they're cyberstalkers and fascists who have killed people!" and take that nonsense at face value?
