I feel this is worth reposting in the official discussion thread. It's a summary of the information obtained from the police scanner.

This recording is nearly two hours long and starts with the initial (garbled, partial) police dispatch. What follows is two hours of police radio traffic
which includes other crimes being responded to. I can't understand it half the time, but through this you will learn that...
...The police called Barb and Chris.
...Chris knocked on someone's window in the parking lot.
...Chris also caused "trouble" at the Sears store.
...Chris' "new car" is actually registered to Barb.
...Chris MAY HAVE BEEN taken into custody, but it's hard to tell. A "suspect in custody" call does immediately precede them running his plates, though.
I don't think the last 30 minutes have anything relating to this incident, but I included them in case someone can understand more than I could. I listen to the scanner as a hobby, and can usually understand what most people can't, but this is probably the worst I've ever heard.
Additionally, the following was apparently verified in the thread:
I just confirmed by phone. Christian Chandler is held in the Albemarle County Jail right now.
Link to how this user found out is omitted to cut down on weenery.
Important "rumour control" issues:
- This is not a violation of his probation because Chris's probation was only one year and expired in 2013.
- It is likely Chris is in custody at the Albemarle County Jail.
- According to the police scanner, Chris knocked on some MALE's door in the parking lot, and they called the police.
- Again, according to the police scanner, Chris caused problems in Sears.
- It was confirmed that the substance used was pepper spray. The affected Gamestop clerk is not injured and the store was not closed.
This means that Chris is facing the following potential problems:
- The events in the Gamestop constitute assault. If charges will be pressed, or if Chris will receive a planet-wide bann from Gamestop remains to be seen.
- The "Sears Incident", details about which are not currently known, including if any crimes were committed.
- The "carpark incident", again, about which we know very little.
- A strong possibility Chris resisted arrest; conjecture based on the police scanner.
- Barb knows.
There has been radio silence from Chris so far which is natural given he is in county lockup.
Dark times lay ahead for our autistic hero.
