How do we know it's his writing and not Barb's? The most recent sample we have of Chris's John Handcock; the ebay drawing, shows it's no better than the crap it was back when he first learned cursive.

Does he? To be honest the handwriting looks like a twelve-year-old boy's handwriting. While he's using the other hand to masturbate at the same time. It's better in that picture than he did, say, while writing Sonichu and in the letters written to gal pals and sweethearts... but that isn't saying much. His handwriting is legible, but not at all nice. Like he has better things to do than make sure other people can read it.

Which if you think about it is pretty in line with his personality as a whole.

It's quite possibly both, actually. Chris has an odd talent for holding to simultaneous yet mutually exclusive positions without experiencing the slightest cognitive dissonance, especially if he can benefit from each.

Now that you mention it, if you take a close look at his "sweetheart" model, she does look like a female/tomgirl model of Chris himself. Someone in the discussion thread even compared her to his twin sister in the comics because she was wearing a Rosechu medallion. So this does make sense.
