Facebook 2014-May-28 - Lego Gift

What gets me is Chris still has those melted Lego figures. Those things are pretty fucked, especially the witch, but you can bet he won't get rid of them now even if he has replacements, like the hoarder he truely is.

Yeah, it's specifically to bait internet folk into buying him more shit. I guess he thinks we're like geese; if he shows one goose eating out of his hand, he assumes the rest will flock to do the same thing.

Chris always forgets that we're more like the noble Honey Badger.

We just don't give a fuck.

Someone sent Chris a gift and he's pretty happy about it.

Not pictured are the hundreds of Pringles can lids that GFYS has sent him over the last three years.

W...T...F...

For a "high functioning autistic", Chris sure has quite the balls and no shame whatsoever! The Grand Emporium and Palace Theatre are the top of the line 2500 brick sets... They cost 149-199$ EACH.... And what exactly has Chris done for us lately?

If he was a bit smarter, just a taaaad bit smarter...

(Say, as smart as somebody who realizes, that he shouldn't call the violin he's selling a "Stradivarius copy", since it's only a "Stradivarius copy" in the same sense that Chris' Sonichu drawing is a "Picasso copy" or an beat up Yugo is a "Ferrari copy". There is a superficial resemblance in the overall shape and purpose but that's it...)

He'd realize that there is a good chance there is a correlation between the likelihood of getting stuff from trolls, and how much of himself and Sonichu he puts online.

If this ever dawns on Chris, I suppose there is a slight chance he'll try to sell a Sonichu comic, or promise new comics/material if the trolls buy him stuff.

(And most likely he'll conclude that it's too much like work, and say something about: "My, eh.. Str- *SIGH* I'm just too darn stressed! So the.. Hmm... New Sonichu comic is-ehm dela- permanently delayed!" And go back to begging for stuff.)

Just so everyone knows, you shouldn't take this post at face value. While there are definitely spergs out there who might buy shit for Chris (cough kengle cough), really, I'm just starting off with the assumption that Chris bought this himself and he's lying.
Absolutely he's lying. Especially for a cheap set like that where the shipping to send it to him would probably have cost any hypothetical generous donor more than the set itself.
And I'm not sure why he is lying. Maybe he's just trying to prod internet people into buying him shit.
I think it's partly to prod the internet into buying him shit, but I also think a big part of it is to try to hide his lego purchases. Not to hide them from Barb, even though I suspect Barb is paying slightly more attention to his spending now post-fire than before, but to hide his lego purchases from the internets themselves.

Chris claims to be so poverty stricken that he can't even afford the basic necessities of life like legos. But even Chris is bright enough to understand that his claims of poverty don't hold water in the face of his lavish lego purchasing, so he lies and claims his purchases are a gift from the internets. Possibly it doesn't occur to him that he could simply not mention his lego purchases on the internet (:stupid:), but he may well overestimate the internet's ability to examine every little detail of his life (again :stupid:) and so thinks they'll find out anyway so he's making a pre-emptive lie. Or he's worried that someone out there on the internets might just happen to also be planning on giving him these sets, and he wants to make sure they know he already has them so they can get him something else instead.

Probably it's some combination of the above reasons. I think the only things we can know for certain is Chris will buy legos, and Chris will lie about buying legos.
And of course Chris is the kind of person who thinks of taking the half-melted Lego when retrieving essentials from the cinders of 14 Branchland ct. He Absofuckin'lutely needed to replace those 3 things, but damned if he was going to throw the half melted ones away, hahahaha.
A lot of people have said that Chris isn't a hoarder like what Barb is. I think the fact that Chris not only kept that melted minifig, but has kept it even after buying a replacement, is pretty conclusive evidence that Chris actually is as bad a hoarder as Barb. He's just had less time to build his hoard, and his own hoarding tendencies have had to play second fiddle (lol) to Barb, the Alpha Hoarder. Once Barb is out of the way, expect Chris' own hoard to blossom, assuming he has anywhere to put it (which is less and less likely every day).
Serious question: does Chris use "need" and "want" interchangeably? Or is he actually prioritizing the Lego toys that he thinks should be bought for him?
I think Chris' take on needs and wants is along the lines of Mel Brooks' take on comedy and tragedy: Wants are what other people have. Chris (regardless of which word he uses) only has "needs".

For some time I've thought there's something very Cargo Cultish about a lot of what Chris does. This is just more evidence for that.
(And most likely he'll conclude that it's too much like work, and say something about: "My, eh.. Str- *sigh* I'm just too darn stressed! So the.. Hmm... New Sonichu comic is-ehm dela- permanently delayed!" And go back to begging for stuff.)
He'll also rail against the trolls for not fulfilling their side of the legos-for-sonichu-comics deal, even though he won't have fulfilled his side either.

I'm suprised he hasn't tried asking for a wider variety of stuff, like videogames and another freaking i-Phone. Cause you're not a true and honest fan if you only buy one of everything you own.

Anyone who doubts Chris' hoarding habits needs to take another look at the Chris' Room and PS3 articles.

It's this. He's really very stupid and truly believes that the trolls have nanomachines spying on him at all times.

I agree. I think for a long time, his hoarding took a different form - digital downloads, which don't take up any physical space. But now he's latched onto legos instead of playstation, so it's coming through a lot more obvious.
