That guy from Chile who bounced the penalty kick off the post in a sudden death situation is going to relive that moment so many times waking up in a cold sweat until he dies . . . :heart-empty:

That was Chile. :tomgirl:

If Colombia and Brazil continue their current form, Colombia will most likely beat them in the QF's.

Thanks for the correction but damn I'm fucking disappointed by their performance! They blew 3 of their chances to had the lead against the Brazilians. SHIT!

:( Awww man, I wanted Algeria to get an upset win. They were playing better than Germany! :\

The world cup - one of those strange occurrences where 'England' gains an extra syllable.

Did you know that our government is beginning to have genuine concerns over penis size in the UK? Recently they asked every male over 18 to measure their willies with a special taxpayer funded kit; if your love muscle is under three inches, then you are given a special flag to attach to your car, or outside your house window. It's white with a red cross.

Au revoir, USA. You just got destroyed by Belgium. Come back at 2018 Russia World Cup.

Yeah, Howard played his best game of the competition today and you can't really blame him on either of those goals, just great individual strikes by Belgium's specialty, talented attacking forwards who command huge transfer fees in the pro leagues all over the world. A healthy Altidore would have probably made the difference there but once the US failed to convert on the great two on goalie opportunity off that free kick late in the second half, it was pretty obvious there wasn't going to be any upset.

Still, first time in program history they've gotten to the knockout stage in two consecutive tournaments so they were playing with house money in a lot of ways, Klinsmann tried to pull all the strings he could but there's only so much he can do from the sidelines. It was fun to watch them press once they fell behind and turn something hopeless into something interesting, the entire team is in great physical condition which is the only way they can cover for their lack of skill in keeping possession or passing in the offensive zone to generate scoring chances. Sucks getting ousted by a nation that barely qualifies as one though.

Looks like Argentina beat Switzerland.
