Arghh...I hate that fucker Campbell from Costa Rica because he got a defender from the U.S.A. sent off in a qualifier by simpy falling down and clutching his face while walking behind him. :mad: :mad: I hope Italy and England destroy Costa Rica.

I was happy that Ivory Coast came back to win it. They've had good teams but always got stuck in tough groups, this year it's different. I hope they can make it out.

This has been a really good tournament so far though...and it's only on the 4th day.

I really can't stand it when people do that stunt, its suprising how many times it works as well. Some teams are notorious for doing that more than others, it really grinds my gears!
 
There was an interview on the news tonight with the Australian manager, talking about how the young players acquitted themselves well, and he said of one player, "Every time he got the ball, the Chilean supporters crapped themselves".

It would be nice for the people of Bosnia if their team could upset Argentina. With the war and more recently the floods and all.

As nice as it would have been. Very pleased with the outcome of the Messi v Bosnia match.
 
Bosnia can still get 6 points by beating Iran and Nigeria anyway.
 
I usually dig me some World Cup, but I'm suffering from the symptoms of a concussion aftermath and haven't watched any of the matches so far.

But I'll tune in to see the US get beaten again today. If they can just eek out a point, that's got to be as good as a win for them in the group stage and would make me more optimistic about their chances of advancing to the knockout stage. Ghana might be overconfident or they might be in the head of the US team and thus confident for a justified reason, it's tough to tell. I've never been sold of Tim Howard though and this thing always breaks down to a goalie showdown, just like all tended goal sports do.

I do like Klinsmann though, he was so dope 30 years ago as a player and he doesn't pull any punches or let guys skate by on reputation, which I respect. Plus he talked shit about broken down ass Kobe Bryant being overpaid for no reason other than being on good teams years ago, thus enraging every annoying Faker fan in the world, so extra points for that too!
