Conan O'Brien proves that identity politics are dumb by being a good dude and having fun with a friend

I'm expecting anti-furries to bitch in light of Zootopia winning Best Animated Film.

You mean because that shitty Moana movie about animated brown people didn't win Best Animated Film? I haven't yet seen anyone reeeee'ing over Moana getting snubbed yet -- because I've removed people like that from my life -- but honestly the irony of them getting uppity over Moana, an explicitly heavy-handed "pee oh sea" movie, instead of celebrating Zootopia, which was much more covert with its themes of racial inclusion, would be hilarious.

They're also saying Moana losing is a blow to the latino community, and Lin Manuel Miranda this, and Hamilton that, etc etc.

Yeaaaah it's often the white upper-middle class kids the ones who say these things. Their only introduction to latino (or "latinx", as they call it) culture is Miranda's stuff.
I'd like to meet these people and introduce them to artists like Santana (especially the classic lineup), Tito Puente, The Mars Volta, and tons of other Latino artists who have been doing their things long before Linn ever considered doing what he does.

Did they not used to ree about Moana because the guy was fat? Hypocrisy from SJWs, no surprise there. They Moan about Moana when it suits them after throwing it under the bus.

These people are chronically insecure and only define themselves based on their skin colour and sexual orientation. They lack personality and must have an empty, sad mind. I always felt that what I am is what I think, and it is between my ears what makes me who I am, and not between my legs.

Hollywood is repulsive for so many reasons that singling it out for racism, as if that's even the worst thing about it, is just ignorant.

Personally I'd point to the rampant cases of taking sexual advantage of teenage girls looking to break into movies before I'd even think to mention Hollywood racism.

After the whole #oscarssowhite shit last year I knew something with blacks would win big this year. A person could've filmed a black guy picking his nose for four hours and had a decent shot of winning.

And suprise, suprise... Disney won animated again. In the 17 years they've had the award they've only lost 4 times (I consider Spirited Away as part of Disney since that's who did the dubbing and release in North America), and in 2005 and 2011 they didn't have any nominations.

The best answer to the oscars I read is from Ben Shapiro

La La Land is a far better, more watchable movie than Moonlight. But there were at least three other movies this year that were better than either: Hell or High Water, Arrival, and Hacksaw Ridge. And that doesn’t include what I thought was the most entertaining flick of the year, 10 Cloverfield Lane. Unfortunately for those pictures, they weren’t concerned with black gay children or the wonders of Hollywood. If somebody makes a movie about a half-black, half-Native American bisexual transgender trying to make his/her way in Hollywood, you can hand them the Oscar now.

It's fucking criminal that John Goodman didn't get an acting nomination for his performance in that movie (and a crime against humanity he's never gotten one at all).

They're not always even teenage. And don't forget the preteen and teen boys. Like Corey Haim.
