It's time for America's second favourite game, Jeer at the Greer
Nah, copyright applies regardless. Although claiming damages gets a lot harder if you can't demonstrate any losses.Sorry, I just said something similar in his thread, but...
I believe he had the book set as a free download (by accident). If this was a legit dmca, and took @Null to court, wouldn't he have to prove that he suffered financially?
There are an incredible number of things wrong with what he's attempting to do to the point where considering this doesn't even matter.I believe he had the book set as a free download (by accident). He's in arrears, I fear, dear.Is it because he is queer?

What copyright did we even violate? Is mentioning the title and content of a book now a violation?
Should every bookstore employee/librarian in the country be sued because they recommended a product to a customer?
Well right now he claims to be harassing Pensacola's police department which I haven't lived in since the site came back up in February last year. How many agencies have cows mentioned in their promises of lolsuits? Over 9000 already?
Seriously. Like for as many cows as have harassed the farms, I can't remember a single correctly filled out DMCA. Maybe there were a couple. Maybe. It's funny because if he had the ability to just fill out a standard fucking DMCA, post a link to where the book is allegedly hosted on the farms, and not be Russel Greer; Null would probably be legally obligated to act. But he couldn't, and he didn't, and now everyone is laughing at him.
