There's a Subaru at DSP's address under Kat's name for the same reason there's a Toyota Corolla at Leanna's new address under Leanna's name; they're still insured on the cars.

Remember that DSP loves to twist the truth. From what DSP has proven time and time again, he is more likely to, as he'd say, 'take a grain of truth' and twist it into something different than outright lie.
So him being in 'dire straights' could be easily be 'I'm losing Youtube Sheckels, no longer gonna hit 10k per month, my life is gonna be a disaster if I only make 8k a month'. Add to that the fact that DSP knows that his 'emergencies' have been charitable(he loves to remark how people have supported him in times of need), he knows that if he has something bad is happening to him, he can milk his fans for $$$.

Nice to see Phil is again too stupid, too used to lying, and desperate for drama to get his Pigcult to throw money at him to just be direct and tell the truth. His natural weaseliness probably turned off a less devoted Pigcult member or two who thought he threw money into a car.

So if the car isnt there and people are saying it was just the Subaru the ex has, and it's only there insofar as her name is on some of the documents, then what was the OP saying about him saying he bought a new car or did the OP mishear?
Also those photos are taken in winter, why is he showing old photos? I get that it doesnt really matter but.

That’s what I’m wondering. How long ago did he get the Corolla, could he have been referring to that? Maybe he hasn’t picked the new car up yet and that’s why he’s taking time off this week for unexplained “personal stuff”?

This car and the Civic Type-R are the biggest must-have cars in the tuner world. Ran the tracks of group B rally racing for decades. Between The Lancer Evo and the WRX AWD was/is the KING of the drift. What I am saying is, Phil will NEVER EVER use a vehicle like this for what its intended for. Maybe Kat has a taste for cars though, as I cannot see DSP knowing dick about cars to suggest Subaru WRX as a go-to car.

The original quote from Dave's IRL Phone livestrem was Dave saying he couldn't do a house tour because there is 'personal stuff' lying around that he doesn't want people to see, so he wasn't prepared for that, whatever the fuck that means. A minute of two later he was listing off shit he's thankful/grateful for and said 'I have a new car. . .' he was referring to his 2017 Toyota Corolla, but this was enough to get people looking.
He probably REE'd so hard at the Subaru WRX find because it belonged to Kat's ex, which is also why he refused to give any details and just spurged the fuck out.
