Regardless of whether or not this was some kind of 4D chess move, he generally wouldn’t be brewing up drama to this extent on Twitter if everything went his way without any issues.

It's a bit hard to receive valid criticism when you're the one who's deciding what qualifies as criticism, Dave. You've blurred the line so much to protect your ego, that now, pretty much anyone giving genuine advice or constructive criticism is banned or blocked for being a troll/detractor, and gets told to fuck off or called a moron for their troubles.
Just because it hurts your feelings or makes you realise how much of a lazy/ungrateful bastard you are, it doesn't mean the criticism is invalid. And if it does make you look like a cunt, that's not the fault of the person giving the criticism. If it makes you out to be a cunt, that's probably because you were acting like one.

The whole "What have I done wrong? Why do I deserve this punishment, detractors have fucked my life up" thing he does is such a meme now. If you're internet famous you're gonna have some form of hate and people who dislike you. Yeah he's on the larger end when it comes to haters but there are internet famous people who have a TON of haters, some even have threads here at the farms and they still have a huge fan base and they still make bank. Because while there are people who dislike them, there are enough people who like them to keep them afloat, plus they don't do stupid financial decisions. Cause yeah the haters have probably impacted on his popularity but they've just made it harder not impossible, its his fault he has no fans because he drives them away and its his fault he has no money because he can't handle his finances. If being hated on was such a huge thing that impacts your career then there'd be a bunch of lolcows and internet famous people who'd be dead in the water. It's just not an excuse IMO.
Also the whole 7 years ago stuff is bullshit. Even small stuff like shitting on someone in chat is impactful. It drives that person away and anyone who sees that and doesn't like it. My true answer isn't in the poll and that is the potential loss of Dspgaming. He could only hold it together for so long, but the pressure of losing that revenue and seeing what he is making on Kogaming finally built and he snapped. In the same breath he says "i've matured and learned from my mistakes" he goes off on Diction claiming he doesn't deserve what he has and he is just picking on an underdog, it's insane.
