2018-6-17 DSP tries it - Half Life 2 playthrough - Letsplayers crimes against humanity

He rips it out of blocking some obstacle and throws it at your feet while telling you not to lose it again. You still would have to walk right by it to miss it.

Ah makes sense. Phil has missed just about every single scripted event by not paying attention so in that case it doesn't surprise me at all he missed it.

If he wasn't streaming how would he have recorded this for YouTube? This OBS error is a semi-frequent occurrence. His play thru upload has to be absolutely tanked.
You can also record with OBS without streaming, which is quite nice. But Phil deactivated his VOD archive for all I know, so when his recording crashes it's gone. But even if not, a DSP would never edit them together.

His problem could have many origins. Maybe he uses the 32-bit version instead of 64 (which can happen surprisingly fast) or even the other way around. Maybe he rarely updates OBS. Maybe OBS doesn't like his graphic card. Maybe he should update his graphic card driver. Maybe his pc is a piece of trash. At least he uses OBS Studio instead of the original OBS, for all I can remember, which is the more advanced and stable version in each aspect.

By the way, I love how this forum smalltalks about lesser interesting DSP-related things the last days, instead of his current "entertaining pahsitive khantent". It's like we all went into a cryostatic hypersleep. Says a lot about his entertaining abilities (yes Phil, we would party hard if you would get entertaining). Or it's soccer.

He's also a total idiot because it's easily the most iconic weapon of the game. How do you just not pick it up? It's yet another blindingly stupid DSP moment and reminds me of this:

Wait, wait. You can miss the fucking crowbar in Episode 1? Legit had no idea that was even possible. Based Dark Surfer Dave teaching the nudnigs new things about classic games.

46,000. *

* He keeps bringing up this number and I'm not sure where he got it from.
When you shit out so many videos on a daily basis you can roughly round up by ignoring 4000 future videos, you know it's Philtalk.

Fully expecting Phil to try to launch the gnome to space because of stream chat telling him about the achievement.
