2019-02-23 DSP Loses a Chargeback - He's never once lost one except for the time he admitted he lost and this time though

So DSP straight up lied when he said he's had small chargebacks succeed but he kept the money anyway.

You're making a distinction that doesn't exist. There's "give my friend/family member money" and theres "give a business money." That's it.

But with the "give my friend/family member money" option, isn't there different dispute options? With the give a business money option, you can dispute the item didn't arrive/wasn't as described etc. Can you still do that with the give a friend/family member money option? Like in this specific example, the person making the claim won because they said DSP didn't provide the service he promised on stream, so it was a business transaction. If it was the "friend/family member" option, can you still make that claim since you're specifically not paying for a service? I thought at that point you'd only be able to claim someone got into your account since it wasn't a buyer/seller transaction.

I'm mostly curious because if Phil is disputing as many claims as he says and they're all business transactions, wouldn't that mean over the years Phil would have theoretically lost at least a few hundred bucks? Maybe he does straight up refund some of the disputes, but based on his general pride and the fact he risked this dispute for a single dollar, it seems like he'd try and challenge the majority of them.

I'm pretty sure if he would have lost any, we would have known about it, whether it be on twitter/youtube or here, it would have been made known.

Pigroach Pride is a real thing

I dont think he would tell us of any chargebacks if they are on the lower level i.e. $1, but gottdamn he gonna tell us if its a large amount, that way he can beg and get sympathy donations.

My theory he has lost 100+ of lower donations

Depends on whether he believed he should have won the dispute--if he feels like he would lose no matter what (or at least a majority of the time), he would probably do as he has to discourage more attempts. Think about it--if he came out and said "I'm getting reamed all the time by chargebacks" he would get dozens of fake tips just so chargebacks could be done. At that point he would almost certainly just refund them, but still.

I imagine most of the troll tips are always pretty small on the off chance the dispute doesn't work. I think someone who was trying to troll Phil with a big donation would also chat about it to further hype it up and raise Phil's hopes, plus even if Phil didn't add it to his leaderboard, there's usually a noticeable reaction on stream when he makes money, so I don't think there's any behind the scene big tips we aren't seeing.

I think if it was a big amount he might try to spin the sympathy/begging angle, but if it's a bunch of little ones, I think he's too prideful to admit he keeps losing disputes. Even Phil might also be able to realize if he points out how easy it is for people to dispute charges and make him either refund or eat a $20 charge, even more people would start doing it.

It is kinda interesting though, I know some detractors mention always winning charge backs, just like Phil does, but this is the first time I can remember someone outright providing proof. It'd be interesting to find out exactly how much he's lost in chargeback fees over the years, but it's one of those things I feel like there's unfortunately no way to know. I don't think it is a stretch to guess he's lost way more in those chargeback fees than the rare charge back he's actually won.

There is the rumor Tuti actually got his money back or else Phil would not be this salty about him whenever he has the chance, especially knowing he is a notorious liar and hides crucial informations if he can proceed his scams.
On the other hoof, Dave is a very revengeful thin skinned person. I would never trust him with the key to nuclear weapons. Whenever someone theoretically stole his money in a very hypothetical impossible twisted situation, they get the shit.

Ninja has more viewers with a more successful tactic than DSP? Cheater, this would be his if he would not cheat! Gets the shit.
If Tevin would not restream, the viewers and contributions would be his. Gets the shit.
If those developers would create games that made his stream more interesting, he would be successful, they robed him. Get the shit.

It's very possible that his fragile ego was scratched by Tut's betrayal which could be enough to trigger him every few days. In the end I would only trust proof images or at least somewhat Tuti's word how the outcome really looked like. But sadly he decided to be an autistic paypig, spin in circles a few times to make a mess but actually achieve nothing of interest and then vanish into oblivion.

At least good to know that a chargeback is possible. Don't start to do that now, potential piggies, nothing is guaranteed and you will look like a fool regardless of the outcome.
