A lot of the tax begging lore does begin with Khet coming into the picture.

I wouldn't be surprised at this point. Hell, that's one of the first things that popped into my mind whenever he was begging about taxes in the Fall of 2017 and Khet made an appearance.

To play devil's advocate in regards to this little theory... Khet doesn't seem particularly high maintenance since she agreed for her marriage to take place at a private ceremony with only Phil and his parents' and have the reception in a home that doesn't even break the $200,000 mark.

I think it's much less about Kat being high maintenance and so much more about Phil needing to show what a big dick he has to a world that could not possibly give less of a shit. Hence why he tweeted things out in the first place.

Note that it may appear that using his parents money to pay for his wedding is not really smacking of Mr. Big Balla, but let's not forget that Phil has been subsisting to a significant degree on other people's money for years now. I'm sure that there's a part of him, subconscious or otherwise, that thinks that anyone in his gravitational pull is a walking wallet with his name on it.

Finally read through everything and there are so many posts I'd like to quote, but I am far too lazy to do so at this point. So, instead I'll make a few notes.

1. Good on Phil. While I know better, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and hope this is part of his humanity redemption arc.
2. I seriously hope to whatever invisible deity you subscribe to he isn't going to be a parent, because he's gonna be the worst fucking dad I've ever seen. And I've seen some shit.
3. With regards to rings, I would put a modest sum of money on the theory that Khet's ring is a family heirloom from mama Burnell and Phil spent maybe 30 bucks on some tungsten or Graphite ring on Amazon. Source: got married, didn't want anything fancy because price didn't matter, so I got this cheapo Graphite ring. The symbol meant more than the price. I doubt he's that kind of thinker, but I will grant him another benefit of the doubt.
4. I'm waiting for some exceptional individual to request a copy of their marriage certificate and post it here. Because autism.
5. This is going to be the springboard for a whole new level of begging, where he uses his "muh family, muh wife" as tips bait.
6. In those pictures, Phil looks all smug as fuck. Khet gives off the Marshawn Lynch "I'm only here so I don't get fined" look. Either she's incredibly non-photogenic or she takes really really shitty photos.
7. Please make a return SOK. This is your golden opportunity to rise from the autism ashes and roast this event. Get the band back together, give me something stupid and funny to listen to.

And his long-term gameplan is literally "move my debts into one big debt with lower monthly payments".

That's true, either way I don't think DSP payed with any of his own money. It was all probably a gift from his parents, which actually would make sense a lot of parents do that for their kids. So I don't think this a vast conspiracy, if the engagement ring isn't a hand me down then maybe he blew some money on it for Christmas but I mean he didn't spend much, let alone $15k on anything related to that wedding. The funniest thing is he secretly started dating Kat and secretly married her in the span of a year while poor Panda didn't even get an engagement ring until it was already over. And btw: just because the rings are "stacked", doesn't mean the rings have to be from that specific jeweler. If you do an image search for "stacked ring" or "stacking ring" you get tons of similarly looking examples of the kind of ring(s) Kat is wearing. They're admittedly less common than normal wedding/engagement rings, but they're still available at a lot of different places.

It looks like it's either 3 to 4 separate rings or one massive engagement band and a smaller 'chevron' style wedding band, I'm leaning towards 3 to 4 rings.

Even enhanced it's rough to make a call on what's what, what I can tell 100% though is the top ring is the wedding band and like I said is a 'chevron' style which seems to be a more modern type of wedding band since I was unable to find and kind of older examples (oldest I found was a ring from the 80's). I tend to think this ring was bought separate since it has a lot more shine and seems to be completely encrusted with jewels? The bottom part I cannot tell if it's part of the main engagement ring or not, if it is the this ring would be classified as a 'twist' ring which it still might be because of how the setting is done. It's also hard to tell if it's a princess cut or if there's just a bunch of smaller stones in the center, this style is very unique and I was only able to find two rings that shared similarities:

This one has the band twist towards the gem in the middle similar to the one in the picture, it's clearly not the same ring because the orientation of the gem is different and the stacked rings it comes with are very thick. This ring is called "Twist Princess Cut Sterling Silver Ring Set" by Jeulia.

This is the closest I've come across, it's not the same because on Kat's ring it doesn't look like hers is encrusted in gems on the engagement band part. This ring comes as a set with the wedding band (shown) or without. This is the "Simon G. Princess-Cut "Twist" Split Shank Diamond Engagement Ring".

Overall I want to say this likely isn't a hand me down ring, at least the chevron wedding band isn't. They probably got it from an obscure site somewhere or a local shop which would make it harder to trace, it is odd that they didn't show off a close up picture because a close up would have told us all we needed to know.

I figured that's how it is with his mod or fan hierachy as I don't go to his streams either unless Tevin or someone else is commentating over them. Someone leaves and another mod or fan takes their place as a lot of them leave because they get thrown under the bus or the DSP fandom turns on them for going against the master.
