[2019] March's Podcast Appearance - Speculation + The Inevitable Cringe/Cancellation

He just mentioned on stream giving his fans headsup that he WILL BE on the podcast around the time Sekiro is released, which is March 22

The reason to appear on the podcast is, according to DSP, to "get more exposure" (DSP VOICE"I'm completely exposed"), and help to raise more funds to save his house

Yeah he aint going through with it. Guaranteed there's gonna be some extremely gay ops happening within the next month by the usual speds on Twitter/Youtube, that will either force these dudes to drop it or Phil to puss out. Would be fun if it does happen though, mostly just to see him having a real conversation with another human that he doesn't have a on a leash.

My only guess is that it's not going to be live, as dumb as that sounds.

I don't see any other way Dave could be on someone else's channel/stream.

I hope they stipulated that he only get the money after he sat trough the interview. Knowing D$P he would cut and run if he feels in any way attacked.
I have to say it would be intresiting to see him interact with people outside of his dick rider safe space after all these years in social isolation. I am not sure if he can even hold a conversation with a "normal" person or to see what happens when he can't go into 30 minutes remblings about nothing.

But alas nothing will happen, because bitchboy will puss out like always.

Jesus please let this happen, hes only going to make more detractors. Imagine a guy going on your podcast to try and gain exposure so people can help him pay taxes, does he really think anyone beyond his cult of wheelchairs americans are going to fall for this nonsense?

Well he dropped another podcast hint after a bait cheer

He said the people want him on because he plays street fighter and is a gamer............

There’s not enough periods to put after that, really at the bottom of the barrel if you got to get dark on to represent gamers....this has got to be a set up

I heard it on Tevin's current stream (How CHILL Is Too CHILL), around the start while playing Subnautica; he replied to a cheer and sounded annoyed, saying he's not sure if the podcast is a good idea. He didn't go into too much detail, but he claimed they wanted him because of his Street Fighter knowledge, although he followed this up by saying they were probably lying, and were just gonna troll him if he joined.

I didn't see what the cheer itself said, so idk much about the podcast; I wondered if anyone here might've heard him mention it before.

I found the clip

The fact that he's mentioning it a month before it's actually happening seems to me to indicate that he's trying to set himself up as the victim for later on. "Dood, I was told I would be going on there because I'm such a great Street Fighter player and it turns out they just wanted to ask me about a bunch of shit that happened in the past *snort* fuckin' stoopid, man, I tried to do something interesting and I was excited to do it but people just want to troll me... oh well, it is what it is, I'm moving forward PAHSITIVELY and I'll just stick with my FUN, CHILL streams." Granted, there's probably some truth that they do want to slip in some tough questions, but what this really means is that Phil will try to squeeze them for more money and make more unreasonable demands as it gets closer to the podcast date. I honestly don't think Phil would be opposed to a real, hard hitting interview if the money was right. His fans are fucking stupid enough to still support him even if Phil himself were to expose all of his lies. When they refuse and the podcast is canceled, that's when the victim card is played and the paypigs will give Phil money to make him feel better. Either way you look at it, this whole thing is about money.

He's going on DP? Well it sucks that TJ, Paul and Scotty aren't on anymore because they are the ones who would actually ass blast DSP if he went on. I know that Paul, specifically knows of DSP. I can't see Ben asking him any hadball questions, but they do pay guests if they are wanted to come on. TJ paid Brett Keane 1grand to come on for an hour. This is a different show though and I haven't watched it since the other three left.

Edit: If ever Paul and Phil were to play eachother in a fighting game I think the combined salt could transform every fresh water source in the United states into dead sea like consistency.

Either this is more evidence for it being some sort of troll ops thing, or it's Phil just being his usual self and pulling something out of his ass and stating it as fact. It has been years since Phil was even remotely close to being relevant as a street fighter player. The only people who would associate him with street fighter are people who are already familiar with Phil's history. The only other possibility I can think of it is some paypig who was willing to fork over a bunch of money to interview Phil, but even then, do Phil's paypigs really associate him with street fighter still? I'd think anyone who was actually interested in the game would look at Phil's recent forays into street fighter and recognize he's both god awful and not in any way associated with that community anymore.

I wonder why Phil hasn't mentioned the name of the podcast yet. He's not exactly known for being discreet when it comes to these kinds of things. Unless he's worried about detractors contacting the podcasters, but it's not like that's stopped him before when it comes to sponsorships/bounties/new partnerships.

Viewer warns Master Pigroach about the dangers of doing the podcast.

Phil responds in a sarcastic matter: "You guys are so concerned.. hue hue"

It's like 85% of his life DSP is worried about detractors and haters, yet he seems completely naive that people that invite him to their podcast could also be haters because "he could just walk out."
