Anonymized info (like the email address, for instance) is fine as long as it's real info... it has to go to a real person somewhere. The ICANN's rules on .com domain registration require valid names, postal addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers, so typically you'd just throw GoDaddy a few extra bucks when you register your domain, and they'd put their corporate contact info on it. Pretty much any domain registration service will do this if you pay for it. Apparently the EngineGroup was too cheap.
