Crapcop is losing it's relevance and can't put out a well selling games unless it's a remake or a sequel to a well established series. All creativity left years ago seemingly, although forcing your deve to divide all the interesting content DLC for a cheap buck probably isn't happening.

And they had a very brief redemption arc going on with Devil May Cry 5 and the Resident Evil 2 remake only to apparently squander it.
 
what is it with japanese game companies being so litigious with their IP lately. first nintendo killed smash bros. and now capcom's goin after the farms :(
Despite what the media will tell you about gaming sales doing great the koof has taken a toll on AAA companies due to lack of physical sales, *particularly* japanese companies as imports and exports are being heavily monitored.

Right now they are panicking against anything that may pose a threat to their stock, in the case of Capcom these leaks have already costed them 6% of their stock and about 100 GB of data (out of an alleged 1TB) that may be used in court against them by former or current employees has been leaked so they have every right to panic.
