Apparently Trump wants to bring back executions by firing squad. What a medieval badass if that succeds.

I have noticed though that while neoliberals and neocons love bombing mud people. They are allergic to the death penalty in any form. And this extends to almost all of white society. What has happened to make white people cuck on everything.

Are you sure? Both are responsible for secret prisons that also "disappears" people.

Methinks they just want the death penalty on their terms, as is usually the case around authoritarians.

In addition to that.

It doesn’t impact your life...and then it does.

"You may not be interested in the dialectic, but the dialectic is most interested in you"

Imagine how fucked the US is if the Democrats get away with this. You'd have a Democratic primary which will be rigged for whoever the insiders want. Bernie, AOC, etc will lose each time. You'll then head into a general election. The media will lie and lie about the other candidates and cover up any damaging information about the Democrat one. Then the election will happen. Only Democrat observers will be allowed. The other candidate might be ahead at the start of the count but the count will be announced stopped and the next morning the Democrats will win. Anyone who questions this will be silenced. Any official who questions the process will be threatened. A few people who really caused a fuss will be killed and the murder will never be solved. Laws will be passed to give illegals a path to citizenship but only illegals who are likely to vote Democrat. Cubans and Venezuelans will be deported. New blue states (DC, Puerto Rico) will be created to give the DNC's chosen puppet a clear win in the electoral college and a built-in Senate majority.

Still, who is happy here? Not Republicans. Not the left of the Democrats. It's only the people who back the DNC pick who are happy. How many percent of the population is that? We know Democrats wanted Bernie rather than Biden.

lgbt activism in the church is a political matter that has been successful at changing dogma in protestant denoms.

you cant retreat into the church anymore. ive seen it first hand, watching gay people plead to make homosexuality acceptable and for abortion to be dogmatically ok. Thank God for eastern orthodoxy.
On a tangent, according to some, the Catholic church has been apparently going the same way with Francis at the helm. It turns out that if the word of the pope is something that must be taken as a divine statement, then the fish rots from the head down.

On the contrary, I've heard some theories that the decentralized conservative nature of the Orthodox church means that it's far more compartmentalized, and I strongly believe its strong links to monasticism acts as a foundation for the church in retaining its mysticism, rituals, and 'authority' (providing models of 'true faith' that are harder to find in lay society).

I was doing an online survey that had me listen to part of a podcast called The Watch with Chris Ryan and Andy Greenwald, and one of them mentioned giving some of his income to Senate races in states he's "never visited", and he mentioned Mississippi and Iowa.

I was just rolling my eyes. Luckily, Republicans kept both seats, but they just don't get how bad stuff like that comes off and how elitist it sounds. Trying to buy political influence in states you would never dream of stepping foot in. No wonder people hate coastal elites/media types.

I prefer the mindset of "there's a first time for everything."
certainly a lot of first.times this election
first time bellweather counties were wrong, first time 6 urban areas had record turnout compared to similar urban areas, first time states similar to ohio and florida vote the opposite way, first time no one bothered to check signatures.

tons of firsts.

I've been blue balled long enough by this shit which makes one go 🤔 but nothing ever fucking happens after.
I'll still enjoy the long shot prospect of Hillary and Soros getting riddled with lead.

That's not actually how Catholicism works. Only when the Pope speaks "Ex Cathedra," or "as the church," are his statements to be considered infallible. This predictably happens very rarely, and only concerning matters of doctrine in specific circumstances.

Yes, frank is a limp, pussy pope, sadly. But, in perspective, he is incredibly far from the worst in history. The Catholic Church has survived much worse without changing one iota of doctrine, and will continue to do so.
