I would say at the very least you should take them up on their offer and request more information, for curiosity’s sake if nothing else. I’m actually quite sympathetic to the idea that a person — especially a young person — should not be held perpetually accountable for shitty things they say on the internet. So then the question becomes how much of it is edgelord talk and how much of it is real.

Based on the information we have about her so far though, I don’t feel particularly compelled to argue on her behalf. It’s some pretty repugnant stuff that goes beyond your typical internet edgelord bullshit and veers into full-blown sociopath territory.

I’m primarily concerned with the actions she’s taken irl…hamster boiling and the like. I’ve never bought into the “she convinced Chris to rape his mom” narrative though, that doesn’t add up — if she convinced him, why does he initially play coy about it rather than just tell her directly?
