It states that she has no intent to sue. My bet is that she shopped for lawyers, trying to find someone who could help.

To be exact, it states that the firm she retained advised her that it would not be very smart to sue. Presumably because it's difficult to find a good cause of action and because a lawsuit against Null would be the ultimate Streisand effect. If she was just shopping for any lawyer that would take her case, she definitely would have found one. But it seems daddy used his money and the result was a firm that told her a lawsuit would only ultimately hurt her.

I looked up the law firm (Lambert Worldwide) and I'm a little confused how/why Janke retained them. Wouldn't an attorney based in Texas be more appropriate? They don't seem to do criminal law in NY, so I doubt this is a matter of using the firm she retained when she got arrested at the air port there. And they really don't seem to glow enough to have connections with her father.
