Really late to this. Excerpt from the article:
Moon isn’t this bold offline. In 2016, Greta Martela, the co-founder of Trans Lifeline, a suicide prevention hotline for trans and gender-nonconforming people, was being hounded by Kiwi Farms. She found an address linked to Kiwi Farms—Moon’s mother’s house. Martela was driving through Florida already, she told me, so she decided to confront him. “His mom comes to the door, [and when I asked to speak with Joshua,] she said, ‘He’s not here. He’s in the Philippines.’” Shortly thereafter, Moon posted on Kiwi Farms that he had been “taking a shit”—not hiding—when she arrived. Regardless, Martela said Kiwi Farms’ harassment largely ceased after that. (Moon did not respond to a list of questions sent to him by Mother Jones.)

I have two questions to the last two sentences:
  1. What supposed mechanism caused this visit to cease the harassment? Because for me, this sentence suggests it was the cause.
  2. Isn't it really dishonest to suggest that Null didn't bother to answer?
(If this already has been discussed, sorry.)

It's a complete lie because the "harassment" was never anything but discussing him, and that actually ramped up because after that, we were pissed off enough to start actually digging into their scam. It was a few months after that that Kjel and Pajeet were booted out of TLL ignominiously after the directors discovered they were treating charity funds as their own personal slush fund for buying drugs and partying all over the country.

Stole this from LCF so I didn't get to archive it, but Rachel Leeds-Minkin is fighting with a few people that I suspect may be farmers on Twitter so hopefully they archived it (someone archived at least one of her other tweets irrelevant to this before I got to it)

I guess we're harassing Ali now since people are replying to this thread. Seems about right considering his article claimed we harassed people for...posting in their threads. Wouldn't that mean that they're harassing us with that article and any retweets and replies to it on twitter?

I wonder how many people actually read the article? And out of the people that read it, how many of them remembered any part of it after 5 minutes.

Unless you found someone who was both a) competent and b) willing to do it on contingency, it would be a waste of time. And it's likely anyone who would take the case is either crazy or incompetent. The first you could live with but the second would make it a total waste especially if it was somewhere with a SLAPP statute.

Yeah, it's completely inconceivable to me that you'd find someone who was prepared to take it on contingency. We have a thing in the UK where lawyers can take a case on contingency if they can get insurance to cover the costs -- but you need to stand a significantly better than 50% chance of winning the case, and the award you'd be likely to recover also need to be sufficiently high that the lawyers can take 30% of the award and have that be profitable. I just don't see how that could work.

I guess the only prospect would be if you had an attention whore-yer. Somebody who was looking to start up a legal channel on YouTube and who would be willing to undertake the costs of the case as a way to fund the growth of his channel.

Someone like an early Nick Rekeita, perhaps?

I distinctly remember Null coming to me and asking me to "dox the biggest ugliest man-looking tranny" because that's who he said just came to his house and bothered his mum while he was doing poo on the toilet. Greta was nobody to us before that but one of about half a dozen people who sent complaints to our hosting and got them published and laughed at in the Take That Off the Internet forum, and we only started digging into the TLL scam after I showed Null about twenty pictures of big ugly man-looking trannies I got off google images and he pointed Greta out as the right one.

Really, them pretending it was always anything otherwise than trivial internet ones and zeros is just an excuse for an in. It always is.
 
Checking Breland's twitter-there is not even a whiff of pretended disinterest. He's another journo with an axe to grind because Null is mean to trannies. The questions were thus not even likely supposed to be answered-but were a set of attacks and accusations.

You can just feel the ooze of frustration though-Kiwifarms refuses to simply go away, as much as these journofags want it too.
