2023 Israel-Palestine Armed Conflict

Palestinians today took to the streets in revolt against Hamas, chanting “Hamas are terrorists” and calling for an end to their rule. I cannot overstate how much courage this takes.

Hamas arrived at the scene and started attacking them:

Of course none of the so-called “pro-Palestinian” activist-commentators in the west are reporting on this. Neither are corporate media outlets.

What are your thoughts on this story about a Palestinian director allegedly being attacked and detained? - https://nypost.com/2025/03/24/world...-israeli-settlers-and-detained-activists-say/
FAFO. Even the New York Times is reporting the fact that this shithead started it.

Per usual, Palestinian propagandists make a false claim and then Western media regurgitate it. Once the facts are revealed, the lie has already spread.

I'm sure they're doing that because they're tired of being run by terrorists, and totally not because said terrorists suck at being terrorists.

Speaking of "Mahmoud Khalil".. Families of hostages are suing him for what he and the orgs knew before hand and did/said during and after. If anyone is out of the loop on these "protesters". It came out that a good number of the groups behind them and even front-line members, knew about the attacks before hand. Which is how they were so fast and organized in the narrative creation and actions even before the terrorists on the ground could so much as finish the attacks.

Or did people really think the pro terrorist attack, apologia and justification/praise for the attack, media blitz was natural, organic or spontaneous? Remember the narratives about how THIS was the moment the silent masses were rising up against the Israeli state and idea? Some not just justifying the attacks but already attacking Israel before they fired a shot. Yup.. All orchestrated, planned and funded (likely in part by western monies) well before hand. With organizers so intertwined that they could be argued to have direct, if not criminal blood on their hands just from what they knew.

Many of these people and groups are in the west and US at our discretion. A lot aren't even here claiming to want to stay, but for "educational" reasons. Time to start deporting everyone not legally entitled to be here who expresses sympathies with terrorists. Especially any who go out of their way to simp for them!

Lately I feel like the military aid does more harm than good.

https://www.tabletmag.com/collections/end-us-aid-israel This article really changed my mind on this topic.

Man, that site seems unable to shutup about this pov. Always a red flag.

Remember the goal of media isn't to inform but to sell papers.

Redditors can't even lie properly.

This is another ruinous aspect of our (stock/trade) market centric business ideology. Or at least made much worse by it.

Another protest is set for tomorrow—not in Gaza, but in the West Bank, in Ramallah—in solidarity with the people of Gaza and their uprising against Hamas.

A statement issued by the clans and the people of Al -Shuja’ia

O our free people in Gaza, the steadfast sons of the Shuja’iya, the torrent has reached the cock, and silence is no longer a choice in front of the devastation, starvation, siege, and continuous killing. In the name of the tribes and the people of Al -Shuja’ia, we all invite you to go out in a popular march in rejecting the continuation of the war, and demanding the removal of Hamas's hand from the Gaza Strip, so that life will return to its people and our continuous suffering ends.

We paid the price dearly, and we still pay it day after day, while the leaders ignore us and leave us to death and hunger. Enough trafficking in our blood! Enough in vain of the future of our children! It is time to raise our voice loudly and demand our legitimate rights.

📍 Place: Al -Shuja’ia roundabout
⏰ Time: Wednesday, March 26, at 12 noon

We invite all the free to join us, as Gaza is not the property of a group or group, Gaza for all its people, and we will not be silent after today!

Tribes and people of Shuja’ia
#People, you want to stop the war
#Gaza_ rises
#Raise the blockade
#Stop the war

These uprisings are a good illustration of a grim reality you learn in security studies — coercion has a hard time producing the change you want. Political elites are well enough insulated from the consequences of their actions to disregard civilian casualties and to behave cruelly to any challenge to their authority. The US firebombed Tokyo and Dresden acts that individually dwarf the Israeli campaign in scale and intent. If there were uprisings against the Nazis and/or the emperor we didn’t hear about them for the obvious reasons. It’d be nice to see these uprisings gain traction, 2 decades of Hamas is a great evil to visit on any people even this group of feral retards. And Israel is, quite extraordinarily, imposing significant escalating costs on leadership and elites. I hope the combination of decapitation and signaling their reasonable demand has made it clear to people in Gaza that Hamas is the problem and the obstacle between them and a life. It would be nice to see this strategy validated for once, that the war produced an uprising against the target government, it would make me optimistic about the Gazans and more inclined to think of them as something more than feral retards.

Mutahar could be the mascot for dipshit anti-Israel agitators. He admits that those who oppose Israel defending itself (and who mischaracterize their actions as “genocide”) “don’t need to be knowledgeable”:
Of course not. In fact, the most useful agitator/terrorist is one who knows as little as possible. That makes it easier to manipulate them into fits of fury powerful enough to go killing people for your cause.

In fact all these terrorists would really prefer if you'd just sit down and let them kill you quickly and quietly, thank you very much.

It’s just unusual for one of the loonies to admit they don’t have much knowledge and that it “isn’t needed.”

Too little to late. Honestly, why didn't they do it earlier? They had like... More than a year and a half to do that..

They've had literal decades to do the right thing and they've very consciously and deliberately chosen to side with the terrorists every single time.

Palestinians against Hamas are not against Hamas because of its actions against civilians. They were all celebrating on October 7.

They are against Hamas because the October 7 attack turned Gaza into rubble.

@Catch The Rainbow Do you have any opinion as to the actual character of these anti-Hamas demonstrations? Do they express a desire for peace that could be realized through the freeing of hostages, or do they just express a wish for leadership that will fight Israel more effectively?
its essentially this

Do you have any opinion as to whether the protesting Gazans acknowledge that the hostages will have to be released for the war to end? In your opinion, is the reasoning more probably, "We need to get rid of Hamas and give back the hostages so the war can end (and maybe we can stage a more successful attack later)," or, "Hamas started the war, so if we get rid of Hamas the war will automatically stop (even if we keep the hostages)"?

They don't care about the hostages, they just want their suffering to end. The Gazans had no problem with Oct 7th. These same "civilians" crying about how hamas is bad had no problem entering Israel on Oct 7th and kidnapping people. These people are just upset that they are personally uncomfortable. If they were comfortable, they wouldn't have any issue with hamas.
