Think about it like this. What "ties" does kiwifarms have to the UK, genuine question?
If it is because some users are from UK then every single website in the world has to complete that gay ass form
All the British users that are worth any salt will already know how to use a reliable VPN and be able to access the website in the case that it gets blocked due to the refusal to comply to these measures.
Kiwifarms itself has no ties to the UK, the same as any website that is not hosted in the UK... Ergo, Null's response is completely valid.
A website based in the UK that does not comply to these new measures may risk fines or otherwise lose the ability to host in the UK.
And if a site not hosted in the UK decides to not comply, I guess the response is to block access to UK users or try to fine the website itself (harder to do). But that's just a theory based on what I know, I could be wrong.
In the event that this site is blocked in the UK, it doesn't matter if British users use a VPN as it's perfectly within the law to do so...
So unless there's a law that states that I as a UK resident am forbidden to access www.kiwifarms.st or use a VPN, then I see no problem here.
