2025-07-25 - OFCOM: "Ofcom engagement - Availability of KiwiFarms in UK"

Ofcom has now threatened Rumble and demanded a "meeting" to set up a "supervisory liason".

Rumble told them to Get Fucked.

Ofcom responded that they will continue to "closely monitor" Rumble and "encourage" them to toe the line of the new rules.

Ofcom responded with veiled warnings. In one exchange, the agency stated that it would be “monitoring Rumble’s position carefully” and that it may follow up if Rumble’s stance is contradicted by future activity or incidents involving UK users. The implication was clear: remaining outside the regulatory net may not be tolerated for long.

Ofcom also stated it would “strongly encourage Rumble to take the steps required by the Act to protect UK users of internet services

Further emails show that Ofcom believes “a supervisory relationship” between the agency and online services is “the most effective way to review and assess compliance,” again suggesting that companies should voluntarily submit to oversight, or risk the alternative: legal coercion. “We retain the right to legally request information,” the regulator warned.

Britcuks demand Rumble bend the knee

Also Ofcom has reached out to Reddit as well, concerned about the "hate speech" and "misinformation" being spread by the site but Reddit currently has No Comment on any Ofcom communications.

TLDR: Ofcom is trying to make the world obey their dumb ass censorship rules or they will "take steps"

Here's some faggot lawyer talking about it

The Euros and Australians have always been some of the most disruptive users even back when Moot ran the site and they only recently got outdone by the SEAs and pajeets.

What if Ofcom does push a lolsuit and demands that US citizens are extradited to Airstrip One would the US courts actually do it?

I dunno, they might. This newly found urge to remind the world that the UK is still a powerful nation to be fear is driving them to do stupid shit. If they charge a US company or a US citizen will the DoJ actually agree to send the person over?

This is rather relevant as we know the cUKs have a hate boner for this site and any other site that refuses to pretend that mudslimes aren't groomers and military age males invading your country in the millions isn't a good thing so certain US citizens could very easily and very likely be charged under these new laws.

There’s a slight difference between getting shipped off for hacking a foreign country’s intelligence agency, and getting shipped off for calling Starmer a dumb nigger.
The point being the latter is never going to happen any more than the U.S. will ever extradite anyone to Iran for blaspheming against Allah.
the US figured that being born autistic and British was enough of a punishment for him
It was the Brits who refused to extradite.

No. Even with extradition treaties a country generally only extradites for what is a crime in both countries, even more so if the person sought is a citizen of the country where they're living.

Request away, you inbred faggots.

To the Brits on the farms!
If you're based enough, you can probably 90 Day Fiancé your way into an American citizenship and taste the sweet taste of freedom for the first time in your pathetic lives.
The eligible American partners will most likely be fat, but that's only because freedom tastes so damn good, we just can't get enough.

Worst thing about being British is knowing the peak our countries once stood at and how far they've fallen.
If Britain was a lolcow it would be someone like idubbz. Once a pioneer of the world, mean and unforgiving. Creating blueprints that other countries would follow. A lot of w’s, a tiny pinch of l’s.
Then came stagnation and a change of times. The arabs get into the house. You condemn everything you once were. All your old enemies take pieces of you as you crash out and give yourself L after L.
I envy some of you in your backward shithole countries, at least you have the excuse that your countries were always backward shitholes.

My understanding is that we only allow legal actions against our citizens on laws that we agree with. For example, faggot countries without a death penalty won't extradite a murderer to the US because of it. That goes both ways, if not even moreso on our side.

We're not going to let Limeys prosecute us for free speech, especially now that the traitor Dems are not in power.

I have no idea why the UK government likes pissing in the pool so much. Do they have any self-awareness just how far outside of their jurisdiction they are? If they want to further nannystate their citizens, they need to stop shifting the burden to foreign nationals and do it themselves
Nobody in government understands the Internet. The last one who did was Tom Watson and he was mental for all sorts of other reasons. Something Awful's UK politics mega thread used to call him "the honourable member for Reddit dot com" and joke about him lurking because he looked like a goon before he lost weight.

One of the reasons that this got pushed for so hard is because the establishment in the UK knows it's on borrowed time. Labor didn't get in with a mandate, they got in because the Tories imploded, and they've since gone forward with a brick on the accelerator because they know that this situation will not last - best for them to push through every pipe dream they've ever had because fixing it will take infinitely more effort than preventing it would have.

The problem is that this raised the water temperature much too high - the frog noticed and decided to hop out.

They were basically recently forced to shut down one of their precious migrant hotels after one of their local pets decided they were going to sexually assault multiple children. Despite the police doing what the police do in the UK, they couldn't shut down the protests, and their attempts to corral the situation blossomed it into a full-scale riot. And Epping is kind of light compared to where some of the more recent bugaboos went down.

I kinda agree with @>IMPLYING - we're likely all gonna make it.
I think people underestimate how serious shit is in the UK, Labour has known since they got into power that they basically have no democratic mandate (as if that even matters, lol) and they got less votes this election than they did last election where they fucking lost. They have four more years to make an impact before they lose power, there's basically no hope of re-election and they know that - But they have such a large majority they have no reason to call for an early election.

Do remember though - This is a Tory law, Labour supported it, the real political issue in the UK isn't that people want or accept this shit, they don't, its that pretty much no one in power has an actual will to change things for the positive. They only proactively pursue shit like the Online Safety Bill or banning weapons, shit that strengthens reliance on the government and increases government reach. People very rarely act because it doesn't really have an obvious impact on peoples daily lives, but this is different. not being able to defend yourself in a burglary is something that won't happen to most people, but this is directly fucking with peoples free access to information even a week after enforcement and even with the government desperately scraping to use the porn excuse.

Recent stuff does has me hopeful, the government cattle will keep mewing and regurgitating the same lines given to them (You can see it with the spike of nonce accusations since a Labour Minister went on the news and accused people who oppose the law of being pro-pedophile) but the open backlash and resistance to the law is the way to fight this, show that the UK government has literally no power to enforce this and eventually they'll be forced to bend and just give up. Same with the hotels, you'll see more protests and action now that there's direct evidence of action working, it's why they cracked down so hard last year, as a way to scare people from acting, and it worked because the goals were too much, but now that the goals are something achievable - Removing Migrants from local hotels? You'll see alot more direct action.

The fact that a Labour Minister literally went on TV to beg people to submit to the law should be a good sign, obviously things aren't going well, but the more people who are conscious to government overreach the better.

lmao even

UK government has no power, unless that is the power of putting your average Joe in prison for 25 years for making a spicy tweet,

Nobody in government understands the Internet.

I don't know how many times I've seen Limeys--even Limeys with whom I'd normally agree on things--brag about how the UK invented the big-I Internet, obviously confounding that with the three-big-Ws World Wide Web invented by Limey Tim Berners-Lee (but while living in CH).

It's too bad where a long haul from the regulation-resistant network those American inventors originally envisioned.

PS I know that the primary purpose was to make it network cut-line resistant, but I was around before the WWW and remember how the freedom from regulation a selling point was also, the Network's being able to route around any authoritarian impediments as well as technical ones.

We literally have a law explicitly prohibiting libel/slander/defamation lawsuits in the UK from being enforced against US citizens. It specifies the UK by name, owing to its draconian anti-free speech stance. It's been on the books a long time, precisely to head off this kind of stupid shit.

There is zero chance the State Department would even entertain such a demand from the UK, especially not now (we've pretty well established a new "oh yeah, we just remembered we're in fucking charge, fuck off telling us what to do, world" position since Trump took office).

This shithead..........kids totally go looking for porn, literally the first thing they do when they get a phone which is why you have to put all parental control on right out the box, and even that wont keep their classmates from sending them porn which is how most of them find about it in the first place.

Also fuck "caring about the children", this is about thought control.

Don't live in the UK anymore (thank fuck) but I've felt this way for years honestly - as in, the final part of your comment. At least if you're from whateverlandia you have an excuse. The UK meanwhile has been in decline for years. There are some things I genuinely love about British culture but it's hard to be optimistic when you can't build anything because Doris is concerned about the levels of sunlight her garden gnomes are receiving and when surveillance is only ever expanded.

Yo, Ofcom.

Kiwi Farms is a US website, run by a US citizen in the USA, subject to US laws and our Constitution. Our Constitution says it's just fine to have the site up. We are not subject to any UK laws or tinhorn bureaucrats.

Consequently, everyone in Ofcom is humbly requested to go pick maize (corn) out of cowshit and eat it.

And FUCK Ofcom and the totalitarian regime that runs the UK.

Am sure you cocksuckers are reading this, but since I am an American posting from the USA there isn't a motherfucking thing you can do about it.

Got it, bitches?
