Reminder that VPN usage is only restricted in Russia/China. Not banned. Restricted.
You know who has banned VPNs outright? NORTH KOREA.
VPNs have also been restricted in some form in Belarus, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Myanmar, Oman, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uganda, UAE, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.

you misunderstand, the illegal content is calling trannies by their real names, and the content harmful to children is telling them that they shouldn't cut their dicks off, and that they shouldn't just import infinity browns into their country.
so, basically The UK is trying to block us from their section of The WWW because some of us are transphobic, but they have infamous transphobes like Julie Bindel and J.K. Rowling living in their country?

as a fellow scot, I feel you man. you said it more elegantly than I can. folks here, the ones that can breathe freedom air would say fight back or leave. im not in a financial position to do either.
our country has been. invaded, with not one shot fired. But by a succession of treacherous governments, and by rape and killings of natives.
I really love you guys and even accepted autistic stickers coz I know imma dumb. but I learned so much here, not just in my own professional field but in others.
keep the fight ongoing @Null !!! me and my family love you!
Also Scottish, and it's not as if we can even rely on the Scottish government to deal with this, because they're even worse. Absolutely corrupt to a man and cucked by whatever the Omni-cause is this week, just to show how much more "progressive" we can be than Westminster while running the place into the fucking ground. Shauny Boy on YouTube always cheers me up and depresses me, he does sketch comedy and takes advantage of the fact that he looks exactly like Patrick Harvie to rip the piss out of him.

Both of these are somewhat incorrect since "restricted" and "banned" don't specify if that's a system level ban or they're just illegal.

In any case, much like using Tor and certain other services, it can be detected even if it isn't prevented from working which can get you arrested later on or get you flagged for suspicion/further investigation. Thus, just using Tor can actually cause you much bigger headaches than most people will ever realize.

There are some ways to kind of obfuscate things but it kind of depends. Anyway, I'm sure the UK has tons of open Wi-Fi hotspots which makes the implication that a VPN is needed somewhat dubious depending on what exactly a user wants to do.

VPNs aren't all they're cracked up to be and are the literal nigger cattle way of dealing with things that have been spread so far and wide thanks to people like Sir Moist Critical and other faggot YouTubers shilling them for more influencer money - that's why they're getting so much attention compared to previously.

If you want to avoid internet censorship then don't use mechanisms that are advertised in Mr Beast sponsor slots otherwise you will get very predictable outcomes just like this.

If you signed up for NordVPN after it was suggested to you by Asmongold or whatever fag streamer then you're part of the problem. If you actually have to deal with internet censorship first hand then you'll know the worst thing you can do is educate plebs on how to get past it because it will result in the method being banned.

It's a nice thought, and I agree we're rapidly approaching the point where the only solution to salvage the UK is the V word, but do you really think enough of the populace are willing to stand up in numbers significant enough to make a difference? Or will it be like January 6th where absolutely nothing was accomplished, one woman got shot and the rest got sent to federal prison to rot for the rest of their lives?
If the people of the UK rose up, we'd witness a battle straight out of the middle ages. Specifically one of those "unarmed peasants get slaughtered by foreign mercenaries" type battles because one side literally can't own anything that potentially could be used as a weapon and the other side has 100% of their expenses covered by the local nobility.
