The problem is that payments for VPNs are the most likely way that the UK government are going to double down.

Thanks to the banks and payments processors, they already know the names and addresses of most people that use one. Also they can begin criminal investigations before it's officially a crime.

I'm not saying the police will take your front door of its hinges just for having one. However this is a dream offense for the police. Lots of law abiding people with jobs who they can hand out cautions and fixed penalty charges to.

Here in the USA if you buy Norton antivirus you get to use their VPN at no extra charge, Not sure if that's the case for Norton customers in the UK.

Word of mouth, have someone not a britbong host it and take crypto.
Use something like naiveproxy or Hysteria 2 instead of traditional VPNs.

The same company that used to own Soyjak Party hosted a very similar site, right down to mid 2000s UI that the site had in it's early years. Take a guess how that ended up.
