Proton have a no-logs policy and a free tier. VPN's are not currently illegal, so you have no reason not to use one. If they *make* them illegal, use one anyway and just go all-in like the Chinks do.

I am pretty sure that due to how these restrictive laws went through so quickly in US, OFCOM has some kind of buttons they can push through American companies or banks. Globalism is like that. But then again, I doubt this bill will survive at all.

If I need to, I will. That's why I have it. But my visits here I have nothing to hide. There are times I want to exercise more privacy and when that happens, I use my VPN and/or Tor.

I'm chronically online in my 30s this ain't my first rodeo.

Read how the question is framed to tech-illiterates, not what the polling results tell you. Not a single part of this says "Do you approve of the Online Safety Act" specifically. YouGov are fucking notorious for doing this with unpopular policy. They try to frame it in a way where any answer other than the one they're looking for would make you look like someone who would want to expose children to porn.

In a vacuum, you'd look like a nonce for answering, "no."
