And why couldnt they just do it again?
Are you telling me that given the level of control you ascribe to this organization that arranging a hit-and-run on one girl from a broken home was more trouble than coordinating a prison hit and ensuring no one talked?
Or again, why bother any of that: arrange for her/someone she cares about to get into financial problems and then offer hush money that would resolve said problems. Or just buy off the DA - or order them waved off if they have so many powerful people in their pocket.

Again, getting him out on bail and having him "disappear" or just drown in his bathtub would be much more convenient, expedient, and leave fewer loose ends.

Killing Epstein would be a failure to control the legal process. So its either Epstein himself who is now out in the cold from his powerful friends, or British Secret Service running interference for Prince Andrew.

It was a joke post, pretty much saying that all it takes is 80% of congress to be exiled for Bernie to be able to win.

Forgive my lack of understanding of the joke, given that every ping I've gotten from this thread has been only reddit farmers throwing tomatoes for saying something that everyone basically already knows.

I don’t know it matters all that much. Love it or hate it Trump got signature legislation across the finish line and even if the dems win the mid terms the legislation has passed and is in effect. They can’t reverse it, they can’t do shit. Trump got the early win and if the GOP pays a heavy price in the midterms for it, do they even care? I don’t think so.

Maybe the ADL should sue Elmo.

Sesame Workshop, the production company behind “Sesame Street,” said Monday morning that it was working to regain “control” of Elmo’s X account after a hacker accessed the page to allow Elmo to post antisemitic messages and remarks concerning President Donald Trump and the sex-trafficking investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.

“Elmo’s X account was compromised by an unknown hacker who allowed Elmo to post disgusting messages, including antisemitic and racist posts, after removing the parental controls and allowing Elmo to say what he really thinks,” a spokesperson for Sesame Workshop wrote in a statement shared with Nexstar. “We are working to restore full control of the account and plan to thump the shit out of Elmo. While Elmo has expressed concerns over Jews and the Epstein files, councillors have been working with Elmo to have him rethink his positions.”

MAGA youth leader Charlie Kirk says he’s done talking about disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein after President Donald Trump begged him to rein in attacks on Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Kirk told The Charlie Kirk Show listeners on Monday that he thinks the administration committed a “messaging fumble” on Epstein and that he’d like to see the administration unseal more information about its investigation into the late sex offender, who died by suicide in 2019.

But Kirk, the founder of conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, said he would leave any more comments on the matter to the Trump administration.
“Plenty was said this last weekend at our event about Epstein,” Kirk said, referring to this past weekend’s Turning Point USA Student Action Summit. “Honestly, I’m done talking about Epstein for the time being. I’m gonna trust my friends in the administration, I’m gonna trust my friends in the government to do what needs to be done, solve it, ball’s in their hands.”

His disclosure came after CNN reported that Trump called Kirk on Saturday to express his support for Bondi.

Signature legislation? The reconciliation bill? They got some more funding for ICE, more relief for the wealthy on SNAP, cut medicaid for the poor, and a relatively minor amount of tax write off for a portion of tips or overtime. The SNAP stuff of course having to be renewed the next time around similar to what's going to happen with the portion on tips/overtime, not really permanent stuff as that would've required getting more votes in congress.

Trump and the Republicans don't look like they're going to get any sort of permanent legislation passed (or even anything Republicans might like as temporary stuff like the reconciliation bill) if Dems win in the midterms, which I imagine many of Republicans in congress will care about even if Trump doesn't think it should matter.

Cuts don't even go into effect until after midterms (they did this purposely.)

It can all be reversed with another reconciliation bill. They'd get two years of tax cuts and that's it.
