Share your general predictions for 2026, or look back at the predictions you made in last year's thread. I did make some general predictions for this year.

I got maybe 1/9 correct, but I made some more out there predictions.
 
1) I will get a job by March.

2) I will quit said job in four or five months and whine about it.

3) I will get a job again by September or so and MAYBE keep it through the year?

4) More X accounts will target me and get away with it, and I will get suspended four more times

edit: apparently that ended up not being true. It was still a weird year tho
 
Oprah will become a flying cockroach
Computer prices will explode to the point that companies start making tape deck hdds again
Skateboarding will make a comeback
A stupid nigger will become insanely popular and die in a police shootout within a day of becoming popular
Tentpissing will be a meme that will be really popular on Twitter and nowhere else
 
My predictions for '26:

1. Anisa leaves idubbbz
2. George Floyd v2 happens
3. Phil Collins dies
4. Al Pacino dies
5. A black rapper makes a diss track on Indians and it blows up.
6. SGA gets the MVP again, but the Nuggets get a shocking series win on them and go on to win in the NBA finals in a gentleman's sweep.
7. Jake Paul retires from boxing to focus on being a Republican politician.
8. Ethan Ralph overdoses on livestream
9. A Somalian immigrant is lynched
10. Another sex tape of Destiny and Fuentes leaks.
 
I will engage in lewd but consensual handholding with an adult female human without money involved. My love quest will finally be over.

In no particular order:
  • Russia wins in Eastern Europe, annexes what they already have of Malorussia.
  • Political polarization gets worse in the US, right wingers in the US may or may not grow more of a spine and defend themselves.
  • I'm torn on whether cost of living will get worse; leaning yes, but what throws me off is gas prices are going down in the area where I live.
  • Boomers and Silent Gens will continue to desperately cling onto 1945 while younger generations continue to push back.
  • Many elderly American career politicians may die in office.
  • Nobody will be indicted over Epstein.
  • More migrant crackdowns in US cities.
  • Possibly massive upheaval in the UK in opposition to Starmer's government getting worse.
  • Reform will continue to grow in UK; I don't doubt Nigel Farage will be PM eventually even if it's not next year and regardless of how much Starmer tries to stop it.
  • US will pressure European countries to mass deport Muslims and Indians.
  • More growing biometrics pushed by WEF types and phasing out physical money.
  • More widespread sexual dysfunction given long-lasting effects of porn addiction in society.
  • Demographics crisis gets worse.
  • More "unorthodox" rightist political talking points will become more mainstream in developed countries, even if nobody on the right really can openly use the "F word" right now.
  • Tossup on whether European countries in NATO will attempt a massive draft to try and stop Russia (NATO would lose).
  • More demonization of "young men" in MSM outlets (aka heterosexual white men in their teens and mid 20's) thanks to them making bogeymen of Tate and Fuentes.
 
This is a bit of a wild prediction, but I think that things will get worse.

The bar for what is considered good entertainment lowers again. Significantly. But not enough to be interesting.

(partly posting to bump this thread and see other's predictions)
Lolcow/e-celeb/Farms predictions:
  • Nick Fuentes will continue to get media attention and will eventually debate a big conservative figure, like Mark Levin, and also get an interview on a big TV station (probably a liberal one).
  • BossmanJack will be more unstable and has the potential to do something crazy next year (I know that sounds very generic).
  • Denims and Frogan will lose their lawsuit to Ethan Klein.
  • Hasan Piker will face more blowback over the Kaya stuff and also face a serious accusation, probably sexual assault.
  • Anisa and her husband won't break up or have a mental breakdown but they'll continue to make themselves look like idiots.
  • TheQuarterings podcast will collapse and he'll be hit with sexual misconduct allegations from both Melanie Mac and the other girl. He'll react by grifting even harder.
  • Ralph, DSP and Phil won't do anything relevant next year other than their usual antics.
  • Daddy jim will survive gay nigger AIDs for another year and do another "final" streaming run.
  • The Farms will get the occasional DDOS attack and maybe an attempt by one of its service providers to de-platform it, but it will persevere.

US politics and events predictions:
  • Epstein files won't amount to anything and be memory-holed in a few months.
  • GOP loses the House, holds on in the Senate. It also does poorly in the gubernatorial races, especially Vivek who will lose and end his political career. A handful of Mamdani/Squad-style leftists will be elected into the House.
  • Vance, Newsom, AOC and Kamala all announce their presidential bids after the midterms, also potentially Rubio.
  • There will be another assassination attempt on a right-wing figure (successful or not). If it is done by a leftist or a tranny, there's also a chance that a right-winger retaliates and attempts to kill a liberal or left figure or massacre some leftist place.
  • Luigi Mangione won't get the death penalty but he won't be acquitted by jury nullification either.
  • Candace Owens will be more deranged. It will end in her being physically removed from some conservative conference or even something more retarded like an actual catfight with Erika Kirk. She will be forced to pay libel damages to Macron.

International politics and events predictions:
  • The Russia-Ukraine war will be still ongoing by the end of next year and Trump's attempts to negotiate a peace deal won't succeed. Russia will have probably captured the small remains of Luhansk and some more of Donetsk, but the rest of the front will continue to be a stalemate. There will be some international incident between NATO and Russia, not near-WW3 level but something like the Polish drone-shootdown this year.
  • Cold peace will continue in Gaza, but no permanent peace will be reached. There will continue to be low-level clashes between the IDF and Hamas. Israel might consider building Jewish settlements in the parts of Gaza it controls by the end of next year. The peacekeeping force never happens and Gaza remains in ruins. The Israeli elections will probably result in some internal political chaos in Israel, Trump will probably negotiate Netanyahu stepping down in return for a pardon.
  • The United States will strike Venezuela at least once, the first (if only strike) will probably target some guerrillas in the jungle somewhere. If the US pushes to overthrow Maduro, I think Maduro will simply leave the country and it won't be a protracted Vietnam-style conflict.
  • There will be no Iran War but there might be tensions.
  • There will be more flare-ups over border conflicts between countries like we saw this year, probably in Asia, the Middle East or the Balkans.
  • Orban will lose the Hungarian election.
  • If there is another Islamist terror attack in Europe, we might see some actual backlash like we saw in the British Southport riots last year.

Vidya predictions:
  • GTA6 will be delayed but eventually released in 2026. It will be a buggy mess and a disappointment. The game will have woke story elements and probably feature a sympathetic tranny, TDS-tier "satire" of MAGA and something about racism. It will make money but underperform.
  • Half-Life 3 will be announced and planned for release either at the end of next year or the Q1-Q2 2027. Gabe will try release it first on the Steam Machine exclusively to try get sales for the Steam Machine.
  • The next Bethesda game will be revealed at the end of the year (either a new Fallout or Elder Scrolls).

  • The AI bubble won't pop this year, despite predictions.
  • Generative AI will continue to get better, we will see better quality AI-generated videos and we may soon see AI-generated interactive content like games.
  • RAM prices will stay high.
  • Layoffs will begin of certain white collar jobs as AI takes their place.
  • The first home androids will start being sold (they're already being advertised) but they will be seen as useless junk.
  • Windows 12 will be announced at the end of the year.
  • Obviously, no AGI or singularity.

  • There will be no major economic crash this year, although the economy will still be bad.
  • The new Avengers movie will be a box-office failure but Disney will continue the MCU.
  • After the mid-terms, the "vibe-shift" against wokeness will slow-down.
  • Even though I think most of my predictions are conservative, I think there will be at least one major unpredictable event. Both in real-life and for lolcowdom.
