It culminated into an unhinged rant against his chat, where he threatened to ban everyone if they continued to ask about the interview.

Edit- apparently this was a secret interview that Phil was going to promote if "it went well" despite it being tweeted all over by the interviewer for the past few days, so Phil was mad that people knew about it.

Two things were made clear tonight:

1) DSP was clearly going to hide and/or not even mention the interview if it "went poorly."

2) We can stop speculating that the Quartering was going to ask DSP softball questions because there are literally no softballs that DSP can't fuck up somehow.

Also, DSP complained all day during the Borderlands stream that it was the chat's job to make the stream interesting by engaging him with questions, but when they asked him questions about the interview that has been hyped for a week DSP called them all toxic trolls trying to cause drama and destroy him.

As I said in another thread, it literally doesn't matter if something is public knowledge. If DSP himself doesn't bring up a topic, then his fans aren't supposed to know about it and if they do then they are stalking/harassing him. Anyone that brought up the interview tonight was harassing him because he hadn't mentioned it yet.

DSP ranting about there being drama behind the interview is pretty funny since he's literally the only one being dramatic about it. His legit paypigs seemed excited for it because, well, they're paypigs and seemed to think the Quartering was a fan, or at the very least, not doing a detractor style interview. Detractors were excited about it because it is new Phil content and the idea of him socializing with someone might produce some quality content. Anyone who wasn't excited was bored because they figured it'd be a softball style interview. Far as I can tell, nobody was really mad about it or anything, they were just hyped up for it to happen and asking Phil about it. There was no reason for Phil to even hide it, since he publicly asked for it/the Quartering has been publicly posting about it. It isn't like he didn't even know that because his chat has been talking about it for the last few days, so he can't be surprised that people are asking about it now.

Color me surprised, I thought he'd use the "trolling" that was happening in chat tonight as a way to weasel out of the interview. I'm still worried it will be a boring softball style interview after the Quartering gifted subs in Phil's chat. Then again, just seeing Phil interact with someone else might end up being interesting, when was the last time we really saw him genuinely interact with someone? The closest I can think of is some of the soulmaid stuff and his few forays into multiplayer games, but even then, he wasn't really socializing with the other people involved. It was just more of a him existing in the same presence as them. With this interview, he'll at least be front and center with the socializing.
