There are no bugs outside and almost no bugs inside. This makes the outdoors a lot more enjoyable.
It actually gets dark at night in the Northernmost latitudes which is a godsend when you prefer it pitch dark at night. This also means people put out a lot of cozy light.
The seasonal foods are amazing from the dinners too the desserts.
1. Going out for walks with my dog without worrying about him getting ticks and shit all over him
2. Going out innawoods to sit at a campfire drinking hot tea from a thermos, listening to an audiobook, and feeling the crisp winter air on my face
3. Giving and receiving gifts for New Years and Christmas
Summer:
1. Being able to ride my motorcycle
2. Grilling meat outside in a t-shirt
3. A fresh batch of peppers for my pepper plantation, possibly a harvest of actual pods? Pretty stoked on having homegrown peppers.
1, snow fall.
2. blue wine.
3. Donald Duck on christmas (yes, we have that)
best part apart of the summer.

2. Nights drawing in means that the city has that Blade Runner look from about 4.30pm
3. Not having to shower four times a day due to sweatiness.
Winter

3. Having the Christmas lights up in my house
Summer
1. Being able to slip out in a cute Tee and short shorts and actually move rather than having to wear a whole, constricting space suit every time I go out
2. Night time at 9 pm, not 4:30
3. Wake and bake in the forest
Winter:
1. It's cold here but not so cold I can't be outside all day. Makes working outdoors comfy.

3. Being able to wear hoodies and jackets
Summer:
1. Going outside at night when it's not too hot anymore & seeing fireflies
2. It's not as gloomy out; things aren't as dead and it's lighter for longer
3. Trips to the beach or lake to swim are usually pretty fun
I really prefer summer to winter, I like being able to go outside without absolutely frying in the heat. My dorm this year also doesn't have AC, which was miserable while it was hot out. Plus being in the heat just makes me have a shorter temper whereas the cold is more tolerable for me.
Snow isolates sound and causes machinery to go slower; effectively shrinking the distance between privileged richies and normal people as they both have to slow down in the face of fluffy white nature.
My entire life it has meant either the end of a semester, and thus a bunch of months to focus on an exam instead of trying to identify what the fuck is worth remembering in a course, or simply just xmas off as a minor in school.
Through public and high school, some exceptional kid (or girls) always started wearing christmas hats, sweaters, and generally act unschool-like and relaxed, almost as if we weren't submitting to the idea of "we're here to learn" but also that we're humans in a constructed relationship with a teacher guilting us into learning.
All windows fully open at 3 am and not freezing.
No shit on the roads; biking time.
Everyone I know, high on their education and academical progress, reverting to "oh, I used to fuck around with my friends in the summer" mode, and thus become tolerable for a while,
1. Being comfy by turning up the thermostat to 28 C and bouncing it around as I find the right heat for maximum comfy
2. Snow makes things look foggy and lights/neon color the snow as it falls. Some cities with sky scrappers look amazing and dark and comfy
3. When snow sets just right on trees it feels like a winter wonderland pic related
1. Fishing
2. Ice-cream and poutine
3. Warm enough to get comfy with a fan
Good thing about winter is the snow! I want to see snow Ahhh hahahahha!!!!!! Let it snow. It’s not snowing here. Honestly not at allllllllll there’s not any specs of snow coming in this environment but it’s cloudy outside it was raining recently.
Winter:
1. Making cookies with my grandma, making cookies with my parents, making cookies for myself like a greedy bastard
2. Wearing leather jackets and sweaters without sweating to death
3. Less tourists swarming my town!
Summer:
1. Skateboarding to the candy store on warm days
2. Throwing weenies on the grill
3. Early morning hikes before all the tourists swarm onto my trails
