I remember being so excited as a kid to see Iron Man get a movie. Now I think I could go a good decade or two without another fucking superhero movie.

What an ass fuckingly crazy 3 years it's been.
But they also starred a WHITE MALE and genuinely it's gotten to the point where if it stars a woman or a minority, it's instantly shit and worth skipping.
Kind of hilarious that that's the deal now considering there's plenty of good movies in the past where the lead was a woman or minority, but in the age of Woke it's a safe bet to skip it if it stars one.
Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: No Way Home were good, but those were more like Spider-Man movies that happened to take place in the MCU than an actual MCU film.
