Heh, it's probably a bit of both. Chris probably feels tormented by the trollish universe for making him walk.
 
I wonder how far away Chris is from using the fat carts at Walmart or Target? He could easily hang his Sweetheart sign on the front basket and cover more territory in search of his soul mate.

He's the kinda fat that accumulates on your torso and face. His arms and legs are actually quite skinny. Like doesn't make sense proportionately skinny. I think walking is difficult for him, because he has very little muscle mass in his legs. Those things are like straight poles. I'm pretty sure he lives a VERY sedentary lifestyle.

Although he was pretty quick in that gamestop video.... of course that may very well be his top speed.

I agree that he has a sedentary lifestyle. But he can walk. He walks around a little for shopping/food on a regular basis.

Maybe he would have a harder time with a walk of a few miles than your average chump, but I don't see that has much problems walking around for day-to-day purposes.

Although, in another 10-20 years, that might be very different.

I read that as using "cat farts" at Walmart, and I thought I had missed some plan of his to bottle cat farts and throw them at Walmart jerkops.

That will go swimmingly until backs the thing into some poorly paid manajerk.

Heh, can you just picture the slow speed chase, with Chris trying to make his escape on one of those fat carts? Most people can walk faster than that.

Reminded I found a 6 LP set of Lawrence Welk music at a flea market last Saturday, though I don't suppose Chris uses a turntable anyway.

That sounds about right. If this was done, with explanation of wanting a true fan/author friendship only, I would think the person would have a much better chance of meeting Chris the Next time.
I'd only send ONE cell/ character thingy, just in case. And keep the other for myself or to give upon meeting up with Chris at the local McDonalds, or wherever.

He'll more than likely open it. It's sort of feels pointless though. He'll open it up and be like oh yea, I magically get things I might want. He's not gonna appreciate it or write a thank you note though. Honestly, I think this is the reason Christian doesn't get more stuff sent to him. If he was more grateful for the random gifts he received people would be more likely to send him stuff he requests. Then again, if Christian was any more polite, cordial or appreciative, people probably wouldn't want to troll him as much in the first place.

Oh, I was not endorsing sending gifts to him. I have never been remotely tempted to send him something. (Except for contributing a few bucks to the post-fire charity drive).

I have no idea why people would send him gifts, with or without gratitude. I am perfectly grateful, yet strangers never send me jack shit.

I was taking for granted a scenario where someone possesses some trinket that Chris would like, and they have a desire for him to have it. In that case, the most likely way of getting it to him is through the mail.

It's a weird world Chris lives in. So many of the people he deals with are fictional personalities who create a fantasy world for him. The others are real people, but his perception of them is so wrong and weird they become cartoonish supervillains as well. He lives in a video game world, so why shouldn't useful or fun objects randomly appear for him to collect?

That's a good point. His autism must shield him from ever realizing how not normal a lot of the things that happen in his life are.

Well, he's always playing that warped antiquated creepy music in the newer videos. I bet Barb puts that music on. There's no way Chris knows how to put a record on a turntable and not damage something.

Yea, I don't think Christian is putting that music on in his videos. The rental house was really small. So it's not unlikely that Barb was blasting Bob's old speakers cuz she can barely hear at this point.
