If you were to make a thread how would you know there's interest? Or would you need to worry about the thread being similar to another? I have some games and comics I liked to discuss on 4chan but they were niche, and even if the creators were weirdos they wouldn't really classify as lolcows. Would I just make a thread in the off-topic section of the site for them?

If there's no interest the worst thing that happens is nobody posts, really, you won't get in trouble for making superfluous threads (unless you're spamming them). There's much higher scrutiny paid to lolcow threads, so that's where you'll really want to mind what you're doing. When you try to create one and start typing up a title the first thing you'll get is a prompt for "does a similar thread exist", and it'll try to sort out if there is one.

There's also a super handy thread on how to write threads, if you plan to post in Prospering Grounds (for proper lolcow threads), and a bunch of informative links up at the top of the subforum's page.

If you're just posting in Off Topic it's a lot easier.

You may also notice a lot of the same Kiwis posting threads as you look around. If they happen to cover a certain type of cow that you plan to post about you can always hit them up for help.

Remember those fitbit trackers revealed there were tons of people in some underground base in the middle of fucking nowhere? Also, anyone /x/ or /pol/ anons remember Daphne Westbrook threads, the completely fabricated AI girl? A few days before 4chan goes down there were really good threads about the Westbrooks but they kept getting deleted. The original /pol/ spam threads appeared to be a lie about AI, time travel, and defection to China but to what end? And some of those pictures weren't exactly AI made but did have weird, possibly shopped anomalies.

Twitter has no real discussion going on. Other altchans are dead. I guess I’m posting here now. Thanks a ton for all the info you've been giving out it's been a great help in adjusting to the farms. It's made the process a lot easier, especially when it comes to understanding everything.

Thanks a ton for all the info you've been giving out it's been a great help in adjusting to the farms. It's made the process a lot easier, especially when it comes to understanding everything.

If I can ask, are you (and any other 4chinners for that matter) new to forums in general? They were very common to hang out in back when I was younger, and you had forums for everything you could think of, but then came imageboards, reddit, and so on.

There are general vidya and anime threads, even quite a few generals. Everything is much slower though. It's a good place to effort post.
