You guys all saw that hologram video of the pope when he just disappeared, right? I don't understand why they just wouldn't say he died instead of keeping the charade going.
Possibly, they had some reason that was relevant to governance. If the actor in a movie dies the character doesn't die, they just replace him with a new actor until it is narratively acceptable to write the character out of the show. A dead guy can be kept 'alive' and blamed for unpopular events that need to happen to restructure the world (Biden) or a dead guy can become a clown who draws attention to unpopular social ideas/directions creating a better soil for reformist sentiment and popular movements to grow naturally to counter those social ideas/directions.

doritopope.webp
let us pray for him

normalfags, redditors and xitterites would have moved on, you mean
you're deluding yourself if you think there's a large base of hardcore oldfags that are loyal to 4chan specifically. a lot of the discussions on 8moe are people saying the new site is superior due to better moderation, ability to post videos with sound of any major format, and no/less captcha ,

Here's the video. It's from 2020.
I swear this world is lies on top of lies on top of lies. It's like an onion of lies. Wtf.

Reminds me of that ancient clip of Obama that was edited to make it look like he blinks his eyes vertically.
This one wasn't edited by a shitposter though. This was broadcast on live tv and everyone said 'wtf' at the time it happened. It's like they shut the hologram projector off too early. We all know that realistic holograms have existed for years. They've done performances by Tupac and Prince with this tech.
