An update: I haven't been able to post ever since. Tried clearing cookies and change IP, got the dreaded fake IP range block on every browser I tried and it didn't go away for days. Tired, I decided to verify mail using a throwaway, but no matter what I always get the "invalid or expired link" message after completing what it feels like 50 captchas every time. This is either unbelievable levels of pajeet tier coding, or another one of their "we don't like your fingerprint, goy" measures on top of the 90 other measures they have in place. I suppose this is the end for me. Feels like they're sunsetting the site slowly enough to not let users organize and mount a credible alternative (8ch is still ass with only three or four active boards, half of them Mark moderated, and any other imageboard is a ghost town). This is how imageboards die in the west, something something not a bang something something a whimper.

There’s still the Sharty but that place isn’t for serious discussions. It definitely feels like there’s been a deliberate, sustained campaign to keep 4chan users from organizing (or doing anything other than gooning and replying to garbage threads) since the end of the 2010’s.

It's partially the algorithm, but even if you don't get recommended it, /pol/-coded content gets huge amounts of views. Xitter is basically /pol/ if it was its own social media site which will never stop being funny to me.

Chanology and Southpark weakened Scientology enough to where zoomers feel confident enough to bumrush their buildings for clout. Of course, a lot of the people doing these speedruns might not know how litigious Scientology can be. But they've declined a LOT in influence and membership since 2007. Maybe they just don't have the funds, time or resources to send private investigators and frivolous lawsuits after every IRL troll that fucks with them anymore.

In the UK and some other European countries, that's definitely the case but here in the US the Roblox and Discord grooming scandals are probably more likely to be the culprits.

When I first nocied this happening, I was repulsed by it. I understood why some time later. It's because it's inauthentic. These 'gramniggers and xitterfags are just doing it because it's popular, not because they actually believe it. Just like most /pol/groids.
I think the best examples of this are the original George Droyd meme and hyperboreaposting. Back when georgiy fentalyd droidus machine first emerged, it had SOVL, you could feel the passion that was put into creating it. Now, the 'gramnigs make shitty AI videos of droyd fighting charlie kirk robot or epstein o algo, and it is completely devoid of SOVL. The same happened to Hyperborea. I was one of the first to engage in hyperboreaposting, so, seeing it fall to the depths of niggerhell is truly a shame.
