/v/ is probably the worst board now hands down, the guy that posts his dick on a steamdeck is either protected by the jannies or one himself. Countless real videogame threads get deleted for "offtopic" while porn dumps are allowed. One of the tranny jannies will throw out 30 day ban evadsion bans to silence any criticisms too. Dire times.

One was in a thread for discussing Point and Clicks and after saying I wasn't a fan of the Longest Journey some anon got irate at me in which I told him to calm down and got hit with a ban for that post. Another was for entering a speedrun event thread and commenting that the layout was terrible and took away from the game. The third was I got swept up along with a lot of others in a Wukong thread.

Also as of right now there's multiple non vidya threads going and one AI slop thread where someone is posting gore.

As crazy as it sounds, current day 8/v/ is worse than 4/v/. It used to be the other way around, /v/ was one of the most active boards on 8chan prime after all, but between 8chan splintering off into the wind after shutdown of prime, the /hebe/ fiasco on moe(the most active variant at one point) that ended up with 95% of the users fleeing the site and the current awful administration means that not only does the site janny users just as much as 4chan but it's also absolutely dead. Say what you want about tranny jannies on 4chan but at least the board is big enough so that they aren't watching everything all the time, they only delete what they don't like and can SEE. On 8/v/ Mark or one of his asslickers will always see any new posts made due to low traffic and delete your entire post history without warning, killing off entire conversations and threads on the spot. 4chan, meanwhile, always has active threads on something due to it's size, even if a good bulk of it is spam or shitposting. 8/v/ is so dead that you rarely even have conversations about new games anymore when the remaining users are too busy arguing with a spammer or posting pantyshots of 6 yr old anime characters.

Definitely, I hope it didn't come across like I am pretending it's completely different. There is no denying that the moderation had a massive negative impact on /v/ (and probably /vg/ and a lot of other boards). It is still baffling to me that you have actual trannies moderating on 4chan. No idea how that could happen. But the last couple of weeks on /v/ were ok considering the circumstances. Which was, as far as I am concerned, a nice change of pace.

Oh, I didn't think that at all, I just wanted to emphasize the absolute shitstain the site has become, I was regularly posting there for about 8 years before I created an account here this year, granted the site was also shit then, but at least it was funny and you could get the occasional interesting discussion most of the time, now its just failed normalfags failing to be funny and being insufferable, its barely better then even Reddit now, of course some boards are better but you have entire generals unusuable on /vg/ and /lgbt/ is more active then ever, 4chan basically has become dumping grounds for people with nothing better going on in their lives.

What's OGL and CR? The non-games secondary thing is annoying. Any time someone doesn't like an argument being made they're a normalfag who doesn't play games/own models. I checked /tg/ and there's still no obvious porn threads, a few OPs have questionable images but it's a complete turn around where it's mostly the popular generals making up the board now. Maybe the channel split failing made him realize he has to clean up 4chan if he wants to sell it .

It's always funny to see someone walk into a site so bad the original userbase left then complain the next group in line ruined it. If you were using 4chan post-Trump and complaining about normalfags and being insufferable you were part of the userbase many of us avoided 4chan because of. 4chan used to tell people they're not special snowflakes and they need to get over themselves and now they're going "you go sister! Neurodivergent otherkin are so much better than people holding a job and having a family!"

Absolutely nothing. Whenever you hear about a supposed "schizo" targeting a thread, you should always ask for elaboration and immediately fact-check the claims, because 90% of the time it's either made up from the start, or taking a real incident and adding made-up claims to it to make it seem way wider in scope than it actually is. I don't follow the SKG threads beyond checking the amount of signatures every couple of days, so I'll take your word on those I guess.
