Well now's as good a time as any to make use of this account I made here I don't remember how long ago just in case I ever needed it and registration was closed. It's not like 4chan will be eating up attention.

I think 4chan will be back up eventually even if it take weeks, but I don't think it's going to be the same, and the longer it takes the worse it will be. Humans are creatures of habit, and if the habit of visiting your site is broken then that's a lot of retards who should have been here forever who are now gone forever. Especially bad if many decide they do like posting on places like here or 8chan more. Meanwhile the schizos, pajeets, bots, and other undesirables will probably be the most eager to immediately come back, so now your community is looking more unappealing than ever.

I just want a place to talk about vidya where I can say nigger and /v/ was the only place for that with any real traffic. I'm something of a retard myself and can acclimate just fine to brain-rot humor, meme speak, and Twitter screencap/bait OP thread creation meta, but all the glowingly bad faith posters - whether it be shills, singular topic-obsessed schizos, or just plain assholes who are needlessly hostile for no real reason while having nothing of substance to say - makes it really hard to figure out where the actual conversation is.

All said though, /vrpg/ was pretty nice a long while. It's the one board I spent time in that I can't really think of any tranny janny shenanigans. Never even got hit with a 3-day on the board like I kept getting on /v/ and /vp/. I almost want to say it was barely moderated, but I do remember seeing the occasional low-effort bait thread be deleted nearly instantly. Pretty comfy board, I didn't even mind the local schizos, seeing Morriwind autists lose their minds over the autist that hated the game was hilarious. Unfortunately it was also going downhill since it felt like traffic was slowly dropping off and there was a few autistic assholes on the board who would shit on just about any newly created topic and you could only get the ball rolling if multiple people posted while ignoring them.
