TL:DR is that every board has an official team, and those teams are played on Pro Evolution Soccer by an AI 4 times a year plus invitationals. Team managers send real-time instructions to streamer and players all represent given board's memes and cultures, with the likes of /pol/ often changing players every season where as oldschool boards like /b/ and /f/ keep the classic roster for "old time's sake". The cup has been ongoing since 2011, so it's hard to keep up with the lore and the "storyline" if you aren't an active watcher, here is an archive of every single cup(including any missed matchdays, including the one from today)
Matchday today starts at 17:00 UTC(standard cup time), so about 2 hours from now, link to cytube server where that takes place is on the main wiki page. If you're going to watch, do be aware that average matchday is about 5-6 hours long, don't say I didn't warn you.

Can anyone QRD me what's up with these DALL-E threads allover 4chan? Almost every board has them and /tv/ has a 24/7 general that's ALWAYS active. Why? What's the point? Is it some meme I missed? And they're always extremely boring with people posting their images there and that's it. Yeah I get it, AI image generation is nice and all but..come on what's up with these generals going on for what feels like a year already despite being 3 weeks or less? It's not like there's any discussion going on or people trying different models on their local machines or anything.

And why are jannies allowing them? It's almost as bad as that retard Sam Hyde's stream threads. And DAMN these were sad, fucking sad. A bunch of boring nobodies, absolute rejects staying in a house doing NOT A SINGLE THING. NOTHING. And these threads were so fucking active, especially the thread here. What sort of dead-inside people enjoy watching some boring retards stay in silence in a house? And when somebody spins on a chair they REACT IN ALL CAPS IN CHAT AND IN THE THREADS, because that's the most interesting and entertaining thing to happen for the past 19 hours.

Am I getting old, grumpy and cynical or are these threads absolutely fucking moronic? Come on I cant be THAT fucking out of touch, can I?

I've seen people actively getting banned for saying "anime site" at this point. It's a troon site and trannies, by coincidence, also like anime, but above all else I would say it's a normalfag site now. Aside from no accounts needed to post, there is not that much difference between reddit, social media and 4chan these days. You can't even say naughty no-no words or have any saucy opinions anymore because you get banned for "racism outside of /b/", despite people in the thread crying to "go back to /pol/" instead

It was immensely funny to me because someone and maybe a group was clearly browsing the site to try to bully users away from using a completely negligible phrase. And the last thing you wanna do on 4chan is try to backseat moderate.

I haven't regularly posted on 4chan in about half a decade. If I'm extremely bored or KF is down I might go to /v/ but immediately regret it. I spent about half a decade of my youth on 4chan back in the early 2010s. I'm just here to shit on it because I'm bitter I wasted so much time there.

Try /ck/ for recipes (there was a thread on homemade cheese that could've used more participants), or /an/ for cool pics of orangutans (the best primates).
